Prophecy for the Nation of Cameroon

Vision of the Flag

I had a vision of the flag of Cameroon. One section of the flag was being covered with darkness when suddenly fire came and consumed the darkness and the flag was renewed. I feel the darkness represents the current crises in the English speaking regions. The fire represents the outpouring of the Holy Spirit that will consume the darkness and restore back the nation.

Twin Nations

As I looked at the renewed flag, I discovered two stars in the middle of the red section instead of one. The two stars were not separated but intertwined like a hologram. I felt the Holy Spirit saying “Cameroon was created to be a Twin Nation”. As I pondered over what that might mean, I felt the Holy Spirit taking me to the story of Jacob and Esau in the Bible. He said Jacob and Esau were twin nations birthed by the same father. He said some of the events that happened in the lives of Jacob and Esau are now being repeated in the nation Cameroon.

In this vision, I felt Jacob represented the French Government of Cameroon and Esau represented the English Region of Cameroon. The Bible shows us that Jacob was a cheat and liar while Esau was careless about important things. Esau gave up his birthright to Jacob (Gen. 25:34). Jacob deceived his Father and stole the blessing of Esau with the help of his mother (Gen. 27:19). In this vision, I felt the mother of Jacob represented the nation of France. Esau hated his Brother after these events and wanted to kill his brother (Gen. 27:41 -42) this represents the secessionist movement driven by anger that is ready to kill for freedom.

Biblical Typology of the History of Cameroon.

I am not a student of Cameroon History but I would share with you what I felt by the Holy Spirit. During the Birth of the nation of Cameroon more than 50 years ago, God’s plan was to create a Twin Nation that will be a great light in Africa. This nation was made up of two separate people with different identities, cultures, systems and heritage. These two people (French and English Regions) were to live in unity not by conformity but by appreciation of their individual diversity. The power of this nation was to be in their vast cultural heritage and diversity. They were to be African Miniature.

Shortly after the Birth of the Nation, Esau was deceived and sold its birthright. The founding fathers of the English Region lost their individuality and uniqueness to the French Governmental System because they were careless. This was aided by the mother of Jacob (France). When all these events happened, God’s original plan was affected and Judgment came to the English Region of Cameroon. They were to be oppressed for 50 years before the yoke could be broken. The children were now affected by the Sins of the Fathers.

Jubilee (50 Years after Independence)

The number 50 represents Jubilee. In bible days during the year of Jubilee every slave was set free and their lives were restored. The judgment that came because of the mistakes of the Fathers of the English Region of Cameroon was to last 50 years and then the yoke will be broken and the people will be begin to rise up and seek freedom. In the bible when Esau lost the blessing, his father promised him that it was to be for a period of time and then he will rise and break the yoke of his brother’s dominion (Gen. 27:40). It’s been more than 50 years since the independence of Cameroon. I believe the up-rising we are seeing in the English Regions is Esau arising to break the dominion that the French Governmental System has had over him.

The Beginning of Restoration

The Bible records that Esau grew up to have 400 mighty men and these men were marching towards Jacob (Gen. 32:6). I believe the English Regions has grown up to maturity after 50 years. We now have lawyers, business men and women, ministers of the Gospel, Journalist, Activist, etc. The English Region is now firm and determines to regain its identity and they are marching towards the French Governmental System.

Jacob got afraid when he heard about his brother and the 400 mighty men. Jacob began sending gifts through his servants and his wives to appease Esau (Gen. 33:1). I believe there is a shaking that is happening in the Government of Cameroon. As the English Regions are rising, there is fear going through the French Governmental System. That is why she is sending her Governors, Mayors, DO’s, SDO, Ministers, Senators and Prime Minster to try to appease the people of the English Regions with gifts and promises.

The Key to Restoration (The Prayers of the Church)

Never the less, despite all the gifts that Jacob sent, it didn’t appease Esau at first. The bible records that Jacob wrestled with God and God changed his name from Jacob to Israel and his hip got broken in that encounter (Gen. 32:27-28). The change in the name of Jacob to Israel signifies the change of the Government of Cameroon. Jacob was a cheat, liar and corrupted and even though he was sending gifts to Esau his heart was not changed. There are members in our current Government that are corrupt, cheats and liars and God will bring a governmental shift that will see this people replaced with a new set of leaders that will have the heart of Israel (Father of the Nation).

The bible records that Jacob wrestled with an Angel (Gen. 32:24) and his name was changed. If the Church of Cameroon will Arise and Pray, the Lord of Host will send Angels that will break the dominion of the current government and the Lord of Host (Jesus) will raise for himself a new Government that will have a new name (Israel) and this Government will be the Key to the restoration of the Nation. This change is conditional to the Prayer of Saints. I call on all Intercessors of the Nation of Cameroon to Arise and begin to cry out to the Lord of Host (Jesus) for a Governmental Change.

The Restoration

The bible record that shortly after Jacob was changed to Israel, the twin brothers met and the Heart of Bitterness in Esau had been changed and he kissed his brother and embraced him (Gen. 33:4). I believe there is something that a Governmental Change and Shift in Cameroon will begin to do in the Hearts of the People. Many people in the English Regions are bitter and angry because of the killing and destruction. The government that God wants to raise will have the healing power to mend the broken hearts and restore the nation to its original destiny (Twin Nation, African Miniature).

I call on the Church of Cameroon to begin to pray for the Hearts of the Broken Hearted and for the English Regions. Let our Lord remove the bitterness and hatred and replace it with peace and forgiveness. Let the pain of the past be forgotten. Let the spirit of forgiveness prevail and let the two brothers embrace themselves again. If God’s people will rise up and pray then the years that were wasted and lost will be restored.

The Coming Revival

The Lord showed me that there is coming a great outpouring of His Spirit in this Nation.
