The Midnight Call: The People, You And The Liberation Movements.
As La Republique militarises our land, we have succeeded in stretching its military in years as never seen before. Their military spend more in intelligence gathering, feeding and paying its military personnels in Southern Cameroons as never before talk less of its huge expenditures on security cameras, bribing Fons and Chiefs, trips abroad, releasing money to its CPDM agents etc. The struggle has also given rooms for the corrupt officials to feed fat from state funds thereby milking the state more. This further drains the state covers coupled with the Ghost Towns effect on the economy. The result is that it is taking a tool on its economy. The francophone community are more concerned now with the crisis like never before. We see it in their papers, Radios, TVs, and on their social media blogs. The burning of the Cameroun flag has regurgitated the beast in them. This must continue.
As I write, in Southern Cameroons there is no city where books selling, uniform etc is happening. Nothing is going on in terms of school resumption preparation. Few parents who have relatives in La Republique and can offer the bills are taking their children over to study in the worst areas they could ever send their children to just because they do not want to sacrifice. They think they love their children more than the love for motherland. They cannot sacrifice. However, these are negligible and insignificant. Those who also claim that some kids are getting pregnant are just a bad parent who cannot adequately take care of his or her child. Even within normal school periods, terrible things do happen, kids still get pregnant etc. The rate now is not alarming as there are even no statistics to compare. However, this is also negligible and insignificant. Parents must take their responsibilities now than never before. We are in a crisis. We are supposed to be extra focus.
Reports back home suggest that talks now in Southern Cameroons are no longer centered around school resumption. Despite few glitches which in every revolution is expected, we can now say that Southern Cameroons has been captured. The people have captured themselves and locked up their minds in a revolutionary spirit to resist this regime so as to see into it that homeland is free and no propaganda from the regime and its agents will be able to unlock this. It may not be tomorrow or this year but the nationalism of Southern Cameroons shall never again be taken from the people. The spirit lives on.
The talks in Southern Cameroons now is all about when shall that restoration of independence comes? How shall the new state looks like? When we listened to calls from back home over SCBC and messages coming from the hinterlands then you know that our people mean business.
Therefore, all these hopes and aspirations shall be answered only by the United Front called SCACUF. Intelligence reports from some foreign governments are worried about so many groups most especially the in fighting because they say we might go the Sudan way. We must not give these governments who are sympathetic that we act in diverse form. We must protect the child we all bear and that child is SCACUF. In this way, we would prevent the Sudan type scenario. We must do that however knowing that we must show strength in unity in diversity not uniformity amongst all liberation groups. That means, some natural understandings must exist amongst these groups despite our diversity in views, opinions and strategies.
That said in order to answer the euphoria and the people’s expectations back home, it is imperative NOW for SCACUF to go back to its drawing board around the idea and vision it was created. The constituents groups which make up SCACUF must put country first above politics and individual interest. There are already some glaring cracks which must be amended and they are very easy to be amended now now now as the nationalists will always say. Therefore, this platform and its people hence shall not sit and watch individuals or groups trying to torpedoed the movement. The people’s revolution shall be protected by the peoples themselves even if it means holding a bullet at our own head, it shall be done. The people’s platform is therefore calling on the “Common Teacher” to rise now and make the house whole again. Unity in diversity is better than false unity where there is suspicion, mutual distrust, blackmailing, name calling etc. Yes, the common teacher once said, the revolution cannot be thwarted when he is still around . I still very much believe in this. This is the first clarion call.
Conclusively, considering the above, it is now imperative for the revolution to be exported to La Republique towns especially Yaoundé, Douala and Baffousam. These are safe havens, and just like the Bamilikes and UPC militants had a safe haven in Southern Cameroons during the Ahidjo area, the same must be replicated so that the military of la Republique is stretched to its explosion point and all those runaway parents from Southern Cameroons shall find themselves in a mix.
Above all, believe in your own selves to cause change. Believe in unilateral actions. Take actions that protect the revolution and hurt the enemy rather than a fellow brother in the struggle and know that whether home or abroad, we are only divided by seas and oceans but we are bonded with the common love to see Southern Cameroons free again. Our restoration is in our hands and yes, we can.
Love you all
