“A Moment Of Testing! ”
Perhaps the question Satan posed to God concerning Job is still as relevant concerning anyone of us!
During a heavenly gathering God said to Satan, “Have you considered my servant Job? There is no-one on earth like him; he is blameless and upright, a man who fears God and shuns evil.”
Most assuredly God feels well about most of us who are like Job, but Satan’s response to God may shockingly reveal the true reason for our reverence.
Satan asked God, “Does Job fear God for nothing? Have you not put a hedge around him and his household and everything he has? You have blessed the work of his hands…” (Job 1: 6-12).
My friend, God loves you. He has put a hedge around you and your household and everything that you have. Is that the reason why you cling to him? What would happen if God tells Satan, “Very well, then, everything he has is in your hands…”
Bottom line is what would you do when hard times fall on you? Are you going to remain faithful to your God? Anglophone Cameroonians, here is your moment of testing now that there is no longer a hedge around you! What are you going to do?
This is your test of faith!
