The Movement for the Restoration of the Independence of Southern Cameroons (MoRISC) is requesting for the unconditional release of the leaders of the Federal Republic of Ambazonia, abducted, Friday January 5 2018, in Abuja Nigeria.
In a strongly worded letter addressed to the Presidents of the United States of America, Nigeria, the Secretary Generals of United Nations Organisations, African Union, Commonwealth, ECOWAS, and Members of the Congress of United States, MoRISC says their abduction will further fuel tension in Southern Cameroons.
According to the letter dated, Sunday January 7 2018, and signed by the spokesperson, Ntumfoyn Boh Herbert
(Yindo Toh), MoRISC says that though the circumstances surrounding their abduction remain unclear and their whereabouts unknown, the government of La Reublique du Cameroun (LRC) is notorious for perpetrating such mischiefs.
“MoRISC reminds world leaders that the terrorist government of La Republique du Cameroun has specialised in the abductions, kidnappings, deportations, illegal detention, torture and extrajudicial killings and “disappearances” of Ambazonians. Abducting Sisiku AyukTabe marks an escalation in the war that the regime of Mr. Paul Biya has waged on our people. MoRISC recalls that 64 nations, including the USA, voted on the 21st April 1961 for the independence of Southern Cameroons (UN General Assembly Resolution 1608(XV) of the 994th Plenary Meeting of the UN Fourth Committee on Decolonization,” extract of the Letter
MoRISC also indicated that on October 1 2017, the people of Southern Cameroons resonated their resolve to break away from the second fiddle life lived with LRC. According to the letter, it was on the basis of the thunderous call from the people, that the interim government was formed to cater for the plights of the people.
“After 56 years of annexation by the Republic of Cameroun (independent on the 1st of January 1960), millions of our people proclaimed our independence restored last October 1st, putting an end to the kind of recolonization that East Timor suffered at the hands of Indonesia. Our people have had enough of playing guinea pigs in an experiment of forcing two peoples to live together in a so-called united country at great costs to human life and dignity, and in violation of our people’s right to self-determination. MoRISC recalls that this experiment was tried but had to be aborted between Sudan and South Sudan; Senegal and The Gambia, Ethiopia and Eritrea; the Czech and Slovak republics; and should be scrapped in the Cameroons. Sending troops to illegally occupy and recolonize our land as well as abducting our leaders and terrorizing our citizens will never break our resolve and determination to achieve total freedom and international sovereignty,” another extract from the letter.
It should be recalled that the Interim President of the Federal Republic of Ambazonia, Sisiku Ayuk Tabe Julius, alongside nine members of the Interim Government were abducted at the Nera Hotel, Abuja Nigeria, Friday January 5 2017.
New developments say the Department of State service (DSS), also known as State Security Service (SSS), carried out the arrest.
“They were picked up yesterday (Friday) by the SSS. They (SSS) came with guns and ammunitions to the hotel when they took them away. They arrived for a meeting of the high command of the leadership of the Ambazonia republic scheduled to hold at the hotel,” a source told the Nigerian Premium Times.
They are presently in custody at the Abuja Police District No 3. Sources say their arrest is linked to a recent detention of over 39 Ambazonia forces, training in Taraba, South of Nigeria by Nigerian security forces.

This is the necessary re-energize that we so badly need.
This is not going to scare any of us Ambazonians at all, even better it now opens the way for us to take on LRC on the international stage with international law and finally push them out of our nation.

This is what the people of Amba want to see. The people of Amba want to see the semblance of all the various groups working co-operatively for the common good of the Ambazonia people in demolishing this monster called la republic who has a firm grip around our neck. Mr. Cho Ayaba’s speech put in youtube regarding this Nigerian incidence was graciously done. Thank you Mr. Ayaba. The only one who has not up until now said anything regarding this issue but however continues to publish on youtube fighting words against the IG (interim government), is Akwanga. If Dr. Akwanga is suffering from some post dramatic syndrome that influences his mode which in turn negatively affects the ongoing Ambazonia struggle, I will advice him to think twice because this our liberation struggle is not just about one single individual.
The devil is a liar. Paul biya and his devil’s will be put to shame.
