Over 300 Ambazonians were between Saturday June 9 and Sunday June 10 2018, arrested by the colonial soldiers of La Republique du Cameroun (LRC). The frustrated terrorist forces of LRC transfer their aggression on innocent Ambazonians with arbitrary arrests, intimidation, and stealig.

In some swift arbitrary arrests, the colonial soldiers raided homes in Muea, and Wotutu, all in buea Sub County, arresting both the young and old.

According to eyewitness accounts, the colonial forces broke through homes, searching and breaking people’s property, all in the name of finding evidence that can incriminate their victims.

“It was around 8am that we were preparing for church, when suddenly a group of well-armed men, broke into our house and told everyone to sit on the ground. They later went into the room and scattered everything, lifting up our mattresses and dumping them into our drum of water. They later came in and requested that we identify ourselves. Unfortunately, one of my sons who is 18 and had just retuned from boarding school, was arrested for not having a valid (LRC) national ID,” Pa Kama, of Ewongo, Wotutu lamented.

Another eyewitness says the terrorist soldiers went as far as asking for receipts to prove of ownership for some equipment found in people’s houses. In the event that such receipts are not provided, the thieves would arrest the victim alongside their property.

“They took my father because he could not show the receipts of our flat screen tv and fridge. We had all documents asked, except those two which my dad said they were missing. He was asked to give 50,000 or be arrested. Unfortunately, he was arrested because he could not afford the sum,” Regina Ngwamessia, a resident of Muea attested.

It should be noted that ever since news of the imminent arrival of the elite force of Ambazonia to Buea broke out, the terrorist forces of LRC have been running helter-skelter, terrorising the population, carrying out raids, and arbitrary arrests. From every indication, they raid mostly the outskirts of Buea, arresting from 18 years to 70. Besides Muea and Wotutu, the frustrated terrorists, have committed similar offences in Bova, Mamu, Tole, and Idenau.

Nonetheless, amidst their thieving activities, tracks of warnings keep circulating on major stops in Buea and Limbe, announcing the arrival of Ambazonia Defence Forces. Some of the tracks call on the population to be aware for there shall be take over of the entire Buea from the colonial regime.
