On Tuesday, March 21st, Lord Justice Ayah Paul Abine was present in court. It should be reiterated that he has been in detention at the Secretariat of Defence (SED) for over two months. Also, the Ayah’s family and his defence counsel on several occasions had called on the government of La Republique to grant the release of Justice Ayah considering the fact that no clear evidence against him had been revealed. They clearly noted that Ayah Pal Abine is being unlawfully detained.
Following reports on BaretaNews, it should be recalled that Lord Justice Ayah Paul Abine was forcefully arrested on Saturday, January 21st, 2017 at his Yaounde residence by armed security officers and was taken to SED, where he is presently held in detention. Considering his deteriorating health condition, Justice Ayah’s family and the entire people of Southern Cameroons hoped the judge at the Yaounde High Court would heed the people’s call and release Justice Ayah. However, their aspirations were again downgraded as he was taken back to prison.
Meanwhile, Justice Ayah’s family and the people of Southern Cameroons continue to mount pressure on the ground and on social media for his immediate release as well as the release of leaders of the Anglophone Civil Society Consortium and all other Southern Cameroonians arrested and detained.
Also, sources gathered that Barrister Agbor Balla, Dr Fontem Neba and Mancho Bibixy were in court today. It was also confirmed no witness against them was present in court. Meanwhile, their cases have been adjourned to April 27th.
Stay tuned with BaretaNews.

BIYA TEARS CAMEROON APART.
MY PEOPLE KEEP IN MIND: WHEN INJUSTICE BECOMES LAW RESISTANCE BECOMES A DUTY. AND WE WILL RESIST THAT REGIME.
Let justice be our pleasure n breakfast for a better Cameroon for all
If we are one and indivisible then the headshould have noticed that there is something wrong with his foot so I believe in one Cameroon with equal opportunities and if corruption most stop in Cameroon then CONAC should be independent and equally control the entrance into public service especially ENAM.U can’t not buy an office n then expect not to be corrupt
