Ambazonians are Neither Secessionists nor Separatists – Chris Anu, Tells the Nigerian Press
The Communication Secretary of the Interim Government (IG)of the Federal Republic of Ambazonia, Comrade Chris Anu, has been in Abuja, Nigeria, where he granted a powerful press conference to the Nigerian media, yesterday, 22nd January, 2018.
In a hall jammed full with Press men and women, Secretary Chris Anu, schooled the Nigerian public with a powerful and brief summary of the history of Southern Cameroons/ Ambazonia to immediately changed the secessionists/separatists tagged narratives within the Nigerian Press and elsewhere. He reminded them that Southern Cameroonians/Ambazonians are neither secessionists nor separatists, but are RESTORATIONISTS.
In other words, Comrade Chris noted that Ambazonia is a separate and independent state from La Republique du Cameroun (LRC), recognized by international and even Nigerian Laws. It has been illegally occupied by LRC for 56 years and the people have seen the need to Restore their independence, which they actually did on the 1st October, 2017.
Secretary Chris, who was flanged by the Lawyers representing the abducted leaders, Barristers Femi Falana, Abdul Oroh and co, authoritatively made it clear that all those abducted are still in Nigeria. One of the lead counsel Barrister Oroh, narrated the abductions ordeal of the interim president and his team as gotten through his investigations.
The head of the United Nations Refugee Commission in Nigeria, had indeed seen and spoken with them, Chris Anu added.
Secretary Chris and the lawyers reiterated that, it is totally illegal and a flagrant violation of international and Nigerian laws, for Nigeria to abduct and hold incommunicado the leaders of another Country for two weeks, without any public statement. Chris added that, if truly any forced negotiations or compromised dialogue is on going in the background with the abducted leaders, with who soever, as is being speculated, then, the parties concern should know that the outcome of such a dialogue shall NOT be binding on the interim government and the Ambazonian people.
They all called on the Nigerian Government of President Mohamadu Buhari, to immediately release the interim President Sissiku Ayuk Tabe and his team or charged them to court. Secretary Chris and the lawyers then paid a visit to the Channels Television Studio in Abuja, where they granted a 10 minutes interview in a program tagged; Network Africa.
BaretaNews notes that, it is good as the battle has been taken to the Nigerian Press and they now better understand the Ambazonian story. As vocal and independent as the Nigerian Press is, it is our hope that they should be able to put pressure on the Buhari administration and hold it to account on this matter.
We at BaretaNews are equally satisfied with this recent move made by the IG and congratulate especially the communication bench for a job well done.

Awesome job comrade Chris Anu and the IG!!
There’s light at the end of this tunnel…we are getting there regardless of the odds!
Good job Secretary Anu. You just confirm why knowledge is power; unlike those Etoudi coconut heads that thought they could inconsequentially obfuscate our history.
My deep respect for Mr. Chris Anu.
Indeed, I was quite moved by Chris’s eloquence and mastery of the fact about our country, Ambazonia!
