Interim Government Christened Ambazonia National Football Team “Wata Na Wata Football Team”

In a just-released statement addressed to the Federal Republic of Ambazonia over state television today October 27th, 2018, the interim government acting President Dr. Samuel Sako has now officially nicknamed the Ambazonia Football team as the Wata na Wata Football team. The slogan wata na wata has been used by Southern Cameroons Self Defense Forces popularly known as Amba boys as a force of might whenever they are on the battlefield. Wata na wata has both a spiritual, psychological connotation that gives an extra push to the Amba warriors on the battlefield. The designation of the football team as wata na wata is understood by BaretaNews to honour Amba boys and transfer the strength the name brings unto the football pitch making those who will represent Ambazonia in blue and white colours as valiant football soldiers never to be beaten by any team. BaretaNews understands the Wata Na Wata football team shall be playing Kurdistan in a friendly football game in the months ahead.

Part of the speech reads ” AMBAZONIA FOOTBALL (SOCCER) FEDERATION In preparation for our first ever national soccer friendly encounter with Kurdistan early next year, we have also created the Ambazonian Football federation and with a Technical Team to select and train our Wata Na Wata national team. The composition of these associations will be published after ratification by our Restoration Council”
