Christain Cardinal Tumi writes an open letter and pleads With Amba boys to lay down weapons, embrace peace and supports the AGC initiatives
No, Mr Cardinal. In every conflict resolution, the first thing as this is not to drop weapons without any head way. There has to be talks, formal agreement with both parties, terms agreed before a ceasefire is made. Peace is not an activity. Peace is a product of a just society. We have come too far to understand the evil that Cameroun incarnates. Everyone loves weapons to be dropped and peace to return. However, for this to happen, the first step cannot be skipped to the second step. Mr. Cardinal cannot say let us channel our problems to the head of state. A so called head of state (BIYA) who declared war. The very one the people are fighting to break off from. Mr. Cardinal is still treating the issue as some domestic issues. It is WAR.
Mr. Cardinal, no weapons will be dropped until such a time a neutral third party intervenes, sit both parties on the table and terms agreed on the way ahead. Mr. Cardinal should be aware that some of us have no problem with their AGC. As he preaches that the AGC is non political and only seek to find solutions, then let the AGC limits itself to holding its conference and proposing solutions to both Cameroun and Ambazonia leadership. The Cardinal should focus his last strength to ensure that at the minimum it should be a referendum for the Ambazonia people so that they can craft their destiny. I hope Mr. Cardinal has seen what comes out of Bali?
They fooled us once, shame on them. They fooled us twice, shame on us.
