Yaoundé Conclude Plans to Attack Nigerian High Commission in Buea, Southern Cameroons.

BaretaNews, has expressly received an audio evidence from a sensitive security source in La Republic du Cameroun (LRC), on the finalization of a diabolic strategic plan to attack the NIGERIAN HIGH COMMISSION in Buea, Capital of Ambazonia. This is coming amidst mounting pressure within and outside Nigeria, for the release of the arrested President of the Interim Government of Ambazonia, H. E Sisiku Ayuk-Tabe, and his ten (10) collaborators, being held incommunicado in Abuja, by the Department of State Services (DSS).

For the security and safety of our sources, and based on our assurances to strictly protect their identities, BaretaNews has resolve not to release the audio note to the public, but to do a loose in-house translation of the conversations in it, from French to English.

The conversations in the audio show that junior military officers were in a meeting, receiving instructions, to further passed over to other junior officers in the field. The recording of the audio started in the midst of an already ongoing conversation and so the opening statements cannot be imagined. The supposed instructor (senior military officer believe to be a Colonel, giving the instructions to the junior officers), is heard saying the following things

“…you should use good tactics and bravery in the process, you monitor the compound well and identify important target areas in that can create violent effect. We want it look like a terrorist attack,… it has to be strong…we’re monitoring social media, some of the secessionists are already threatening attacks on business Nigerians in Buea and Bamenda, …we see their anger rising against the Nigerian state …the government thinks such attack on Nigerian consular compound and her people can make the Nigerian state angry with the secessionists and also put them against each other too … we want to get sympathy from the Nigerian state on their collaboration on what we are telling the international community about the secessionists …the governor of southwest has already been confidentially informed to facilitate the process… you must not fail… you must leave no traces of that can lead to suspicion by the people or international community on our security forces and the state of Cameroun… strategize well, we are monitoring the tensions in the media social, inform me when you are ready and we will give the command when you can strike…you must not fail…”

Junior officers receiving instructions (respond in chorus): “Yes my colonel” and one voice continues “we cannot fail the state… “Sound of long movements and faint background conversations continue and audio ends.

According to our sources, the increasing pressure on the Nigerian authorities, especially by Senior members of the Nigerian Bar and the African Bar Association is making LRC feel and uncomfortable with the situation. They therefore need to do something that will win the sympathy of the Buhari government and the support of the Nigerian public towards the release of the Ambazonian leaders to the Biya regime.

By taking the risk to leak this plot, our sources say, is to avoid a possible dangerous effect of the said planned attack, on Ambazonian refugees in Nigeria, should it be successfully carried out and the intentions achieved.

BaretaNews, is therefore by this, calling on the Nigerian Ambassador in Yaoundé, Cameroun and the Nigerian High Commissioner in Buea, Ambazonia, to immediately request for additional security from the colonial regime to be stationed at their Consulate in Buea. By providing such extra security, the hands of the hibernating attackers would have already been tight. In fact, they will have to explain to the world how such tight security was bridge, should they go ahead with their diabolic plan.

In the main time, we call on the Nigerian community, especially the business men and women all across Ambazonia to be alert and very vigilant. From the instructions given to the colonial officers in the audio, it would appear they are also planning to attack this group of Nigerians considering the rising anger among Ambazonians. Consequently, the colonial authorities will not hesitate to sponsor such attacks in order to pass the blame on the group of Ambazonians, who have been venting their anger against the Nigerian government on social media. Remember, this plan has been on their table for long as they strategized to see how they could get the Nigerian government at logger heads with the interim government, so as to send them out of Nigeria.

This is proof that, among the citizens of LRC and the colonial forces, there are people there with human feelings and love for humanity. This therefore, further confirms the stands of Ambazonians that this revolution is not against the individual citizens of LRC, but against the system their authorities have built for over 56 years, that has enslaved the people, and the colonial authorities have consistently showed their unwillingness to address these issues. No right thinking citizen of a state can sit and watch such brazen injustice and slavery to continue.
