Buea, Southern Cameroons: Cameroun General Bouba Is Dead
Chris Anu, IG Communications Secretary this morning reported that General Bouba who fought very hard in the North against Boko Haram and sent to Lebialem to fight Ambazonia Fighters May have been killed.
Chris in his early morning report claimed General Bouba was killed in a convoy besieged on Friday, 8th February 2019 by Ambazonia Fighters in Lebialem as they drove to the Palace of Chief Esoh-Atah. Chris continued that three SUVs, a military truck and two smaller cars were severely damaged in the ambush
The Communications Secretary says his informant has said Bouba’s corpse with four others were later identified in Dschang Hospital.
It should be recalled that Bouba has been credited for decimating Boko Haram, a terrorist organisation in the north of Cameroun. All hopes were high that he may replicate same feet in Lebialem to crush the Red Dragons and its field Marshal, according to Cameroun authorities.

“Brigadier General Bouba Dobekreo has died in an ambush by separatists in Lebialem, Southwest region of Cameroon. His body lies now in Dschang Hospital Mortuary. Bouba was of Cameroon’s most reputed army warfront officers in the past two decades. He took up his new duty post as Commander of the First Sector of the Multinational Joint Task Force (MJTF) put in place by member States of the Lake Chad Basin Commission to fight the terrorist group, Boko Haram, according to a release by Cameroon’s Defence Ministry on August 14, 2015.
