The national chairman of Cameroun’s main opposition Social Democratic Front, SDF party, John Fru Ndi has shamefully declared that Ambazonian Fighters should lay their arms and unconditionally embrace Dictator Paul Biya’s prefabricated dialogue plan.
In an interview granted to French Cameroun’s state-owned broadcaster CRTV, he shamelessly revealed that the Ambazonian War of Independence is a national problem that requires domestic and not a foreign solution.
“I call on those who took up arms to seize this opportunity and that all Cameroonians as one man, out of love for the homeland, that we leave with the good resolutions to the problems of the hour,” he said.
The Chairman’s outing came hours after a delegation from his SDF party told the colonial Prime Minister of La Republique du Cameroun among other issues that the purported national dialogue slated for the end of September 2019, must be held in the presence of international mediators.
Meantime, some Ambazonian activists have described the involvement of the SDF in the Biya dialogue scheme as ungenuine given the party is not one of the warring parties in Southern Cameroons.
