Political Hand-Clappers in Manyu Go Comatose After Colonial Police Station Goes Up in Flames

By Andre Momo

The political landscape in Manyu County has been shaken to its core following a daring raid by Ambazonian fighters that saw a colonial police station set ablaze. This attack has left colonial CPDM politicians, who once sang songs of victory over liberation forces, silent and seemingly absent from the public eye.

This attack comes as a direct contradiction to the claims made by these politicians, who had previously declared that all traces of the Ambazonian fighters had been wiped out by regime soldiers. Over the weekend, a well-coordinated operation led by a highly skilled and armed squad of liberation fighters struck the colonial police station, leaving it in ruins. While local media outlets have confirmed the destruction of the station, the exact toll on regime soldiers has yet to be independently verified, with only the burning of the police station being certain.

The operation has further confirmed the continued presence and strength of the Ambazonian forces in Manyu County. Despite the claims of some local politicians, who have been using the ongoing conflict as a backdrop to promote their campaigns for presidential elections, the attack serves as a stark reminder that the liberation movement is very much alive and well.

Mark Bareta, CEO of Baretanews, called the raid a “square peg in a square hole,” reinforcing the fact that the fighters, with enough support, have proven their capacity to carry out successful operations. This latest strike is seen as a morale booster for the fighters, showing that they remain steadfast in their struggle.

In contrast, the colonial CPDM elites who once proclaimed the eradication of the freedom fighters have gone eerily quiet. These politicians had previously made public statements boasting about the defeat of the Ambazonian forces, but now, after this successful attack, their silence speaks volumes. Meanwhile, the regime soldiers continue their brutal tactics, including widespread sexual violence, looting, and the indiscriminate arrest of young men and boys for exorbitant ransoms.

The attack on the police station marks a pivotal moment in the struggle for liberation in Manyu County, and it sends a strong message that the fight for independence is far from over. With each passing day, it becomes increasingly clear that the forces of resistance are resilient, and the ambitions of the colonial regime are being called into question.
