What Evil is La Republique Planning Against the People of Batibo?
The deadline slated by the foreign authorities of LRC to the chiefs and population of Batibo Sub-division to produce the arrested colonial D.O. dead or alive has expired. In the aftermath of the arrest of the D.O. by Ambazonia Defence Forces, the authorities of LRC had held meetings with local traditional & administrative authorities during which strict orders were given to them to mobilize search teams to get the D.O rescued.
It should be noted that ever since that fateful 11th February, movement into and out and even within Batibo sub-division has been banned. No vehicles, motorcycles or other form of transport rolling on wheels is authorized. A local resident contacted to know the state of affairs quipped “I just called my wife’s brother who said they will go hear their decision as dateline passed with no good result”. He continued, “All okadas are under police or gendarmes parked in the park”.
Yesterday, 11 of the 22 fons comprising the 22 villages that make up the Moghamo clan signed a memorandum addressed to authorities of LRC pledging their collaboration & willingness to cooperate to find ways to find the arrested foreign D.O.
It should also be noted that denizens of Batibo had since the arrest of the D.O. abandoned their homes and now live in bushes as they fear reprisal attacks including shooting to death, incapacitation, torture, rape, abduction, stealing & looting by forces loyal to the repressive & dictatorial government of paul biya of LRC. Motorbike riders, owners have been forced to surrender them to the police & gendarmerie posts. Others who were smart quickly moved out of Batibo to safer regions where they could continue working to win bread for their families.
Another meeting of the fons, drivers, okada riders & other major stakeholders shall hold tomorrow at the Batibo fon’s palace to hear the authorities’ position and know their fate as the deadline expires without any information filtering as to the whereabouts of the arrested colonial administrator. Social media has been rife with information that the D.O. had been wasted & his remains found at SABES, a locality in Manyu Division, a claim which Eric Tataw of the National Telegraph debunks after stringers carried out investigation but couldn’t find any leads.
At moment, the population of Batibo lives in total fear & pandemonium as they fear that the Kembong, Kwa Kwa-type onslaught & high handedness of LRC forces would be exerted on them. UNCERTAINTY is the word that reigns in the brains of all denizens of Batibo & its immediate environs as they fear the frightful & deadly onslaught awaiting them replica of what has been happening in other localities of Ambazonia.
The hours & days ahead will be telling!

Don’t declare a war if you can not defend your people.
the stupidity of ignorant people is making them indirectly kill their very own.
There are different solutions to the same problem but not all solutions are effective or profitable. Some solutions instead create more problems. That is the kind of solutions the rebels have chosen.
