COMMUNIQUE FROM THE COUNCIL OF BELGIUM
Dear comrades and honourable exco members of the Southern Cameroons Council in Belgium,
Following unconfirmed information brought to us by BaretaNews about the coming of Laurent Esso to Belgium, to meet with Southern Cameroonian community, we the people of Southern Cameroons do state the following:
That all Southern Cameroonians in Belgium should remain vigilant and intensity security measures so as to root out any infiltrations amongst us.
That the coming of Laurent Esso should not serve as a distraction to Southern Cameroons in Belgium.
Laurent Esso is not a Southern Cameroonian and is not a minister for Southern Cameroons. Therefore we should be prepared to repel any initiative from who ever tending to lure us into any form of meeting with him.
We hereby caution that, any Southern Cameroonian taking the initiative to meet with him as such, will be doing so at his own risk and peril and will face the wrath of our authority in Belgium and the diaspora as a whole.
We consequently reiterate our position that Laurent Esso is unfit to initiate any form of dialogue with Southern Cameroons Belgium .
That, the Southern Cameroons struggle for restoration has reached such heights that only an organised International forum with the United Nations and The United Kingdom appearing as arbiters can lure us to a negotiating table and not cosmetic, peace meal reforms that LRC has been engaging into.
We are observing the situation and will brief you accordingly.
