The Ambazonian Defence Council (ADF), has refuted allegations it kidnapped foreign tourists in Nguti, Southern Zone of the Federal Republic of Ambazonia.

According to a Press release signed by the Communication Secretary of the Ambazonia Defence Council (ADC), Commander Shey Kaavi, no foreigner was abducted by Ambazonian forces. According to the release, it was made clear that Ambazonians have nothing to do with the arrest or abduction of foreign nationals and ordinary civilians inside Ambazonia.

“The ADF and its affiliates and allies fighting for the immediate decolonization of the territory and peoples of the former UN Trust territory of British Southern Cameroons has observed the manipulative release of the supposed kidnapping of foreign nationals by the colonial government of La Republique du Cameroun. The ADF hereby informs the media and the international community that it has nothing to do with it the kidnapping of the foreigners in the territory of Ambazonia. This behaviour is reminiscent of the Nazi tactics used in 1945 by Hitler to stage the invasion of Poland,” the release read in part.

The release also denounced the atrocities perpetrated by the colonial LRC regime, on Ambazonia soil.

“The ADF and its supporters denounces and strongly condemns the actions of the brutal colonial forces of Cameroun that has engaged in all forms of systematic killings, murders, and massive arrests of Ambazonian citizens as a means of squashing the quest by 8 million Ambazonians to free themselves from the bondage of the last remaining colonial systems in the world,” the release read in part.

The release further called on the Ambazonians to watch out for LRC manipulative tendencies, and strive to keep the enemy abbey.

“The ADF therefore invites the population and citizens of Ambazonia to be vigilant and to denounce this manipulative tendencies of the colonial regime that has meted and brought untold pain, brutality and sufferings to the peace loving people for the last 57 years just because the demand to lead their God giving rights as English Speaking citizens of the world,” the release read in part.

While promising to destroy all ties with LRC, ADF however sent a strict warning on Ambazonians, serving as spies for the rogue regime of LRC.

“The ADF hereby reiterate its unshaken resolve to continue to fight to dismantle all the structures and instruments of colonization and occupation of the territory of Ambazonia. The ADF warns all its citizens who are still working to assist the colonial regime that the ADF will not distinguish between the terrorist occupational forces and those who collaborated to continue to perpetuate the current crimes and genocide against the people of Ambazonian,” the release added.

It should be recalled that the government of LRC said on Monday April 2 2018, that it had freed 18 hostages, including seven Swiss and five Italian nationals, who were kidnapped by Ambazonian forces in Nguti.

Issa Tchiroma Bakary, LRC Spokesperson said in a statement late on Tuesday that the 18 hostages had been freed on Monday and also included six Cameroonian municipal officials.
