Buea In Tears As 22-year-old Pregnant Woman Gets Burned To Death

The demise of a heavily pregnant woman in Buea has left many denizens in tears as they ascribe her death to constant electricity blackout in the town.
The 22-year-old reportedly died in Buea Town, a neighborhood in Ambazonia’s capital, in an inferno that happened owing to an electricity blackout.
Sources say the victim, Enanga Helen lit a candle in her room and slept off.
The fire from the candle would later spread to some equipment in the house and engulf the ceiling.
“The woman bought a candle that she was using in the room, but slept off,” a witness recounted, adding that the fire burnt the mattress on which the woman was sleeping.
BaretaNews learned that the woman died with an eight-month-old fetus.
The deceased’s husband was not at home when the tragic incident occurred breaking morning of Monday, March 28, 2022.
Many a denizen in the Ambazonian capital has ascribed the death of the young woman to the electricity blackout that has characterized the town for the past days.
