SOUTHERN CAMEROONS STRUGGLE :
WHO IS THE AUTHOR OF ALL ACTS OF ARSON ?
From every angle that one would one to look at it, Paul Biya is responsible for the burning of schools, markets, police stations, barracks etc and those condemning the atrocities as they should must direct their fury to the right targets.
If the acts of arson are actually carried out by Southern Cameroonians, I will not blame them even if I would not hail them. I will not spray bullets at an ambulance in rescue mission. I can only caution against it. To stop the burning naturally, we must crack down on the foundation cause of the whole drama.
I will blame Biya who had promised that the coming of new freedoms meant that Cameroonians would not need to seek refuge in the “marquizs” to express their thoughts, opinions and feelings. He promised freedom of speech; freedom of opinions, of thought, of public protest, of association etc.
Today, like in the days of UPC when one needed to go into hiding when making a point, Biya has forced Southern Cameroonians to express themselves through acts of arson. They have to burn schools, markets, police stations, military barracks as a means to make themselves heard in replacement of conventional methods.
Of course, Biya is the cause. When the Southern Cameroonians demonstrated on the streets, they were brutely gunned to death with the rifles that their taxes and natural resources buy. When their students stormed the streets in the University of Buea, they were raped; arrested; maimed, tortured and imprisoned. The North West and South West regions have been turned into military barracks by armed forces on special assignment to shoot to kill. Journalists writing on the question have been summarily arrested and arbitrarily imprisoned. Private TV stations have been warned that talking “federation” is now taboo.
And where do you expect the Southern Cameroonians to express their frustrations?
Without being the devil’s advocate, it is only common sense to see that Biya has taken Southern Cameroonians back to the 1948 colonial La Republique of UPC militant mass killings when the blood of martyrs was used to paint all their streets red; when entertainment shows of group beheadings were staged in their major junctions and when heads of martyrs dripping with blood were hung on sticks and planted for public viewing as if they were some signposts – exactly what Southern Cameroons politicians of the time like Endeley, had warned against. Biya has now told Southern Cameroonians that like Um Nyobe, Ernest Ouandie, Felix Moumie etc, you must wear your coats of maquizard and return to the marquiz hideouts to make your point.
So Biya is responsible for the burnings in Southern Cameroons.
Those “priests” and “monks” in this revolution who have done well to condemn the acts of arson should point their accusing fingers to the right person. That is if they can actually ascertain with prove that Southern Cameroonians are actually the authors of the acts of arson because the only such act whose author we are certain about was committed by government forces that burnt Dr. Fontem Neba’s car. And no one is apologizing about it.
The indefinite strike continues !
Aluta continua!

Nicely stated, Biya, his men and those Southern Cameroonians who support them are the source of all these ills.
This time, time is our, the people are in charge and resistance is duty.
of course Biya is the ring leader of all the evils and arson attacks in the anglophone regions, he is trying to create division, win sympathy from the people, the international communities blaming the local communities and the Consortium for the destruction, unfortunately his puppet regime which is full of liars in the 34 years and 56 years of colonial failed policies is untrustworthy especially a dictator who cannot sit on the table to reason with his own people, always use arm and police brutality, jails to suppress the TRUTHS, any anglophone who tries to reason with this biya is living a lie,’ an old dog cant’t learn new tricks’
This is really true
