Detained Muslim scholar and Southern Cameroonian activist Abdul Karim Ali says he will henceforth not eat any food served him by the colonial regime of la Republique du Cameroun. Sources say the vibrant and courageous Karim took the decision recently at SED, a dreaded detention facility where he is detained in Yaounde. Media reports say the Bamenda based Muslim leader vowed to eat or drink only what comes from his family members or lawyers.

He was whisked off on September 25, due to his stands on the ongoing Ambazonian war of independence which is nearing it’s third year.

The lawyer team of Abdul Karim, field in an application for habeas corpus, which is yet to yield any fruits.

Human Right groups have criticized the government of French Cameroun for it’s persistent illegal arrest and arbitrary detention of Ambazonian activist .

Since the inception of Ambazonian liberation war, Abdul Karim Ali often advocated for outright independence, calling on president Paul Biya to facilitate the process so that Southern Cameroons and La Republique du Cameroun would live as good neighbors

  1. Stay strong Brother Abdul Karim Ali, for the truth shall set you free. The killing spree after the Badlogue cpdm get together in Yaqounde shows that had you been in Bamenda you would have been killed. Now others must begin to see that the criminality of the Beti/Bulu mafia gang has no limits.
