The Swiss Led Process Is Not A Bad Thing But We Will Not Talk On The Position Of Fear-Abdul Karim

Dear Southern Cameroonians,

Peace and blessings of God be with you. I understand you all are impatiently waiting to see and hear from me. I recognize the anxiety, fury of desperation and eagerness. I truly and really hoped to have addressed you by this time. How ever, we must commit at all times in the Hands of the Cherisher of the world.

Permit me tell you there are many angry people both in the Southern Cameroons and LRC waiting for any opportunity to get me back in the dungeon or worse. “Liberalism is trust of the people tempered by prudence. Conservatism is distrust of the people tempered by fear”-William Gladstone. Let’s live to fight another day. Hence I won’t grant any interviews until I am sure the time is right. Prudence is foresight and far sightedness. It’s the ability to make immediate decisions on the basis of their longer-range effects.

If affairs are easier of entrance than to exit, then caution to determine our way out before we venture is primordial. Trust me you shall hear from me in due course.

Mean time it suffices to say the following:-

1. We are fighting not because we are mongers. We were pushed to the wall to self defend ourselves. Thus we are fighting to talk and not talking to fight. We shall show to the world our maturity by *_listening_ even to France and China should they propose to broker *JUST* peace between us and LRC. We shall put our questions and wait for answers. We shall not hesitate to pull out if we ain’t comfortable at any point. But we shall not do so via face book, WhatsApp, YouTube etc. We shall meet any country upon invitation/solicitation once our security is guaranteed. We shall beat anyone on our case any day, any where any time.

2. I again urge all leaders to recognize they are condemned to reconcile and collaborate. Time is of the essence. Whether they like it or not, that is not debatable. Please provide any workable alternative if there is! Let’s prevent redundancy, obsolescence and failure. A wise man learns from his experience and a wiser man learns from the experience of others.

At last my dear people. I must say I am skeptical of the skepticism of most us. The radical skepticism on the Swiss led process is not a bad thing but please show me alternative measures. We will not trust any one but we won’t at same time refuse to listen to anyone.
Let member states give us the reasons to quit engagements. Let’s not have our party and turn on the music after. We are not afraid to talk to any including LRC and France. But we shall not talk from a point of fear.

Dear Southern Cameroonians, I shall in due course answer every single one of your questions about the Swiss led negotiation process and my life at SED.

Yours Sincerely.
*Abdulkarim Ali.*
