Ambazonia: MoRISC Reminds the UN of her Responsibilities, Challenges Isa Tchiroma’s 200 terrorists Claim

The Spokesperson for the Movement for the Restoration of the Independence of Southern Cameroons/Ambazonia, Comrade Boh Herbert, has challenged the UN and the international community to live up to their responsibilities of conflict prevention and maintaining world peace, by compelling the colonial regime of La Republique du Cameroon (LRC) to respect the rights of Ambazonians to self determination. This is contain in a letter addressed to the UN Scribe, Antonio Gutierrez and other world bodies on Friday, 8th December, 2017, titled; “Eleven Civilians Executed by Biya on False Claims they are Terrorists.”

In the letter, Comrade Boh, informs the international community of the ongoing acts of genocide by Biya’s colonial forces in Manyu County, Ambazonia, characterized by torture, rape, looting of properties and the summary execution of innocent civilians on claims of fighting against secessionist terrorists. MoRISC points particularly to the execution of 5 detainees in gendarmerie custody on thursday night, after alleged fire exchanges between régime forces and faceless forces fighting for the liberation of Ambazonia. This five civilians who appeared to have been executed after torture is an addition to six others executed last week.

He therefore calls on the relevant international authorities to prevail on Mr. Biya and his agents to allow Southern Cameroonians determine their own destinies as a People and an independent Nation as enshrined in relevant international legislations, notably Article 4(b) of the African Union Constitutive Act, Articles 19-24 of the African Union Chatter of Human and Peoples Rights, and relevant sections of the UN Chatter

MoRISC berated the claim of the colonial propaganda minister, Isa Tchiroma that, the massacred civilians were part of a 200 terrorists force that attacked a gendarmerie post in Mamfe, chief town of Manyu County in Ambazonia. Tchiroma’s claim does not add up to security scrutiny because, pictures of the said attack released by colonial forces on social media show just a single bullet penetration on the window of the said gendarmerie post and so the evidence does not corroborate a claim of an attack by 200 heavily armed terrorists. Rather, the bodies of the executed civilians show every prove of the fact that they were detainees tortured, executed and presented to the world as terrorists by the imperialist forces to justify the declaration of war on the people by the colonial president, Paul Biya, and the ordering of the forced movement of an estimated 60 000 Ambazonians into neighbouring Nigeria as refugees.

Boh Herbert, also reiterates to the international community the status of Southern Cameroons/ Ambazonia as a former UN Trust territory which was self governing pre 1961, before its recolonization and illegal occupation by LRC in 1961. He therefore calls on the relevant international authorities to prevail on Mr. Biya and his agents to allow Southern Cameroonians determine their own destinies as a People and an independent Nation as enshrined in relevant international legislations, notably Article 4(b) of the African Union Constitutive Act, Articles 19-24 of the African Union Chatter of Human and Peoples Rights, and relevant sections of the UN Chatter. This will go a long way in taming an already worsening situation and all the characteristics of another genocide on the people of Ambazonia, which are already visible on ground since the declaration of war on alleged terrorists by the Yaoundé regime.

It is not yet late for them to do the needful and halt the needless rising refugees crisis in Nigeria, save the lives of surviving innocent Ambazonians, and why not the lives of innocent colonial troops in Ambazonia. It is not the fault of these colonial forces to have been placed in the face of faceless forces by an antirevolutionary agent like Paul Biya, whose own meaning of frank dialogue is force.

BaretaNews, concurs totally with the position of MoRISC on the execution of innocent civilians, especially relating to the false claim of Isa Tchiroma, Mr. Biya’s propaganda parrot that, the slain civilians were part of a 200 armed terrorists group that attacked a gendarmerie station. The question we wish to put forth to Mr. Tchiroma is; Can a gendarmerie post manned by a few and overstretched colonial force withstand an attack from 200 armed terrorists? Or Is Mr. Tchiroma telling the world that more than 200 of the deployed colonial forces to Manyu, were equally stationed to watch over an empty gendarmerie post in the night and were able to match 200 terrorists fire for fire thereby killing five, with only one gendarme officer shot dead by the terrorists? We strongly think that Isa Tchiroma, as a propaganda minister can tell better reasonable lies, than just telling ferry tails without bearings.

We are at this level of the crisis because of LRC and Mr. Biya’s obstinacy, blood thirstiness, political grand standing, the hypocrisy of the international community and the impotency and failure of preventive diplomacy, which are necessary working tools for the UN and other extended diplomatic bodies. BaretaNews, the people’s revolutionary platform, shall continue to join voices with other revolutionary groups like MoRISC and the Interim Government of Ambazonia to challenge the international community, especially the UN to live up to the expectations of global citizens and humanity, who are the true financiers of UN activities.
