CDC Head Office To Yaounde: Mola Njoh Releases Statement- Resist, Resist, Resist

Mola Njoh Litumbe, onetime Chair of the Means and Ways Committee of a coalition of movements for the restoration of the Statehood of the Southern Cameroons has stated that the struggle has crossed the Rubicon.

The 92-year-old Chartered Accountant, who lived the Plebiscite for the Unification of the Southern Cameroons with La Republique du Cameroun (LRC), in 1961, made the declaration in an interview granted BaretaNews after he was reportedly tricked and prevented from meeting the Commonwealth Secretary General, Rt. Hon. Patricia Scotland, during her visit to Buea on December 22.

The senior Statesman who was 36 years old by 1961 and voted in the Plebiscite of February 11, 1961, said he was going to tell the Commonwealth Scribe that the other party (Cameroun) to the negotiations for unification has, ever-since, been breaching the terms until the agreement is now null and void.

He said the last straw that has broken the back of the camel is the happenings for more than a year now that has pushed Southern Cameroonians, otherwise referred to as Ambazonians, gone past the point-of-no-return or the Rubicon.

After having been dribbled and prevented from being received in audience by Rt. Hon Scotland, Njoh Litumbe returned to his Likoko Membea House residence and posted on the internet:

“The Rt Hon. Patricia Scotland, Q.C; P.C, in her capacity as Secretary-General of the British Commonwealth of Nations, visited Yaounde for five days last week and on Friday, December 22, 2017, paid a day’s visit to Buea, in Southern Cameroons, home of the minority English-speaking Peoples that have been annexed, marginalised and are being oppressed by the majority French-speaking country of La Republique du Cameroun, which she never legally joined,” Mola Litumbe appended.

He added that, “I was going to be one of the principal notables to meet her for audience, but although I succeeded in entering the Mountain Hotel where she received other notables, the Security Services succeeded in not permitting me to be received by the august visitor.”

In what he termed “A note of the conspiracy …, together with a summary of what I would have told the Rt. Honourable Patricia Scotland, Q.C; P.C, if I had been given the opportunity to meet her,” Mola Njoh stated under the title, “Storm In A Teacup”, that:

“Over the past 12 months, or so, serious political differences have arisen between the former UN territories of French Cameroun that France granted independence to on January 1, 1960 by the baptismal name of La Republique du Cameroun, and the former UN trust territory of British Southern Cameroons which the UN General Assembly fixed its date of independence to be October 1, 1961.”

Tracing the reason for the creation of the United Nations Organisation in 1945 after the WW II and naming its various organs including the Trusteeship Council (to enter into Agreements on behalf of the UN with sovereign Member states to foster non-independent UN territories to independence), Mola Njoh observes that:

Article 102;

(1) of the UN Charter states that: “Every treaty and every international agreement entered into by any member of the UN after the present Charter comes into force shall, as soon as possible, be registered with the (UN) Secretariat and published by it.

(2) No party to any such treaty or international agreement which has not been registered in accordance with provisions of paragraph 1 of this Article may invoke that treaty or any agreement before any organ of the United Nations.”

It should be noted that LRC has planted surveillance camera and mounted security checks around the premises of Mola Litumbe. An inside security officer in Buea disclosed that Mola Litumbe is more or less not the target. According to the source, those who enter and leave Mola residence are the once targeted by the surveillance instruments.
