COMMONWEALTH OF MASSACHUSETTS CITY OF LOWELL In City Council
RESOLUTION
To support the Southern Cameroons Community in New England in its desire to restore its
national sovereignty through a democratically organized Referendum.

Cognizant of the large and growing presence of Americans of Southern Cameroonian origin in
the City of Lowell, Massachusetts;
Cognizant of the rich and diversifying cultural contributions that Americans of Southern
Cameroonian origin are making to the City of Lowell;
Cognizant of the establishment of a Sister-City Relationship between the City of Lowell and the City Bamenda in Southern Cameroons on November 5, 2002;
Cognizant of the University of the American Declaration of Independence, asserting inalienable rights to Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness;
Cognizant of Articles 15 and 21 of the 1948 Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR),
granting everyone the right to nationality, the right to take part in the government of his country, and the right affirming the will of the people as the basis of the authority of government;
Cognizant of UN Resolution 1608 recognizing the independence of Southern Cameroons;
Wherefore, the City of Lowell City Council supports the aspirations of the Southern Cameroons community of New England;
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LOWELL, as follows:
That we, the members of the City Council of the City of Lowell, jointly and severally, do hereby support the Southern Cameroons Community of New England’s quest for self-determination and the restoration of the sovereignty of Southern Cameroons through a referendum, or similarly organized democratic process. This resolution is adopted by vote of the City Council on the
2nd day of May, 2017.

This is exactly the right direction.
With confidence and courage one step at a time. We love you for your great work and efforts.
Pleased we need to form a government faster.Many nations are willing to support us.We are delaying let us form even an imperfect government for now.
That might just be another foundation to a slow ineffective system. There are many good structures to copy from.
There is no turning back the time is now or never. We need our full restoration. For more than 50 years the only company that we have in southern Cameroon is CDC. We seems to be Good Only in taping the robber and clearing the plantation to feed LRC with. This slavery must stop UN take NOTE, African union take Note. SONARAL is a LRC private property only the francophone is qualify to work there.
This is a great move. One step at a time. We shall keep the faith of the struggle until we declare ourselves victorious
