It wouldn’t be a hyperbole for the Political Desk of BaretaNews to say that, the defiant Hon. Wirba Joseph, member representing Jakari Special Constituency in LRC’s Parliament would have been Yaoundé’s first suspect of Thursday 16th November, 2017 night fire incident at the Assembly building, if he had been seen around the assembly vicinity in the last three days of the November opening session of the Cameroun Parliament. The fire incident came shortly after Wirba’s colleagues of the SDF, who had decided to stay out of the opening session, until a debate is opened on the Southern Cameroons Crisis on the floor of the House. The SDF MPs were told point-blank by Mr. Speaker, Cavayege Gibril that; he will not tolerate any debate related to the crisis on the floor of his assembly. It is important to note that, while the anti-people MPs have decided to continue the political dance with La Republique’s parliament, Hon. Wirba who had repeatedly fired the assembly about its indifference on the raging Southern Cameroons Crisis, decided to hearken to the voices of his constituents, by boycotting the present session, which has unexpectedly been halted by the ominous wild fire.

Of course, when a litter of petrol now cost more than a litter of Ambazonian blood, God is bound to be angry. When you refuse to handle the wild elephant threatening to pull down the house, you’ll certainly not live in that house to kill a rampaging rat. The legislature is supposed to be the engine of political stability in any supposed democracy. As a People’s Assembly and lawmaking institution, it is imbedded with the political sagacity to even invoke a DOCTRINE OF NECESSITY to rescue the state from any political implosion, especially when there are countless lacunas in the laws of the land on the threatening issues at stake.

Lugubriously, the Parliament of the Cameroons, a supposedly State of Law, and an imaginary one and indivisible country, has calculatingly and purposefully decided to be docile for a year and running as one of its supposed PEOPLE continue to question the credibility of their status as full citizens of the said country, with ruthless massacres, mayhem and humiliation of the People by trigger happy security forces going on unabated. For one year, it has been a crime for Hon. Wirba or any other Southern Cameroons MP to voice out the concerns of their people on the floor of the make-believe hallowed chambers. For one year, the only resolution parliament has passed is to condemn an already traumatized people and even go further to supervised their massacre through a mocking celebration of a certain Reunification Day. For one year, the hands-clapping assembly through its anti-“Anglophones” stand has confirmed to the people of Southern Cameroons that they (Southern Cameroonians) are a captured people and slaves that do not deserve freedom anytime soon.

Southern Cameroonians have become enemies of the state because, as slave, they have dared to stand before the master’s parlor and challenged his authority over them.The voice of a determined people is the voice of GOD. It is evidently clear that Ambazonians are determined to be totally free from La Republic’s house of bondage. Therefore, any anti-revolutionary agent shall fall down physically or spiritually. As Mr. Speaker and his cohorts continue to value the 2018 Budget of LRC more than the blood of innocent Southern Cameroonians, as the hungry Southern Cameroons MPs continue to value their salaries and constituency projects money more than the constituents who sent them there in the first place, as Yaoundé prefers a fractured and cosmetic one and invisible Cameroun over a concrete and viable Cameroons; we at BaretaNews can flagrantly tell them that, the violent conflagration at the National Assembly building, was an undisputable sign of their impending doom.

There is no way a sky scraper built on a shallow and sandy foundation can be sustainable. No matter the aesthetics, it is bound to crumble from the foundation. The Lawmaking body is the foundation of any state. It formulates all laws through which other state institutions run. The fall of Ngoa ekele Glass House is therefore a political ominous for Yaoundé. It is the impending fall of a system built on 57 years of innocent bloodletting, falsehood, tribalism, nepotism, subjugation, marginalization, manipulation, political servitude and state rubbery. In general, it is the impending fall of LRC, a country built on jiggery-pokery.

You may say the Ngoaekele Glass House is just a building like any other government building; yes, but it is a sacred and symbolic building and that is why it is often called the hallowed chambers. Is there still any room for Yaoundé to repent? Only GOD and His gods can answer this question.
