In a press release from Cameroun Gendarmerie Minister Jean Baptiste Bokam, a would be state of emergency has been announced in Southern Cameroons for a period of five months to force start school resumption. In this light, the Southern Cameroons Ambazonia Consortium United Front Department of Defense (DoD) has issued out 19 self regulating self defense tactics which each Southern Cameroonians must take into account in order to be safe and avoid La Republique Barbarism. The release reads as such:

In response to the LRC newly announced state of emergency declared in Southern Cameroons, the DoD hereby releases these self defense and survival guidelines for all home based SC civilians to protect them from the LRC impending war on Southern Cameroons Ambazonia

1. Understand you are not a soldier, and you don’t have to fight.
2. Talk with your grandparents or any relatives who have experienced war or state of emergency.
3. Be friends with farmers!!!! The best advice for you.
4. Make active preparations, typically by stockpiling food, and other supplies for you and your family.
5. Formulate an escape plan because when LRC enemy troops come knocking it won’t be to just ask for some sugar.
6. Don’t live in a rural region either; Leave major populated areas or cities cause those will be very dangerous places to be.
7. Don’t marry, and don’t have children during the state of emergency period.
8. Have many friends; don’t care who your friends are, but just trust the good ones.
9. Know people in neighboring countries
10. Know how to solve basic electronic problems!
11. Generators, radios, flashlights etc. This is self-explanatory.
12. Have friends that will know where the war is (shootings, arresting etc).
13. I think as a civilian, state of emergency is survivable if you are not in the wrong places.
14. Be moderate in politics and know about the news
15. Don’t make plans without thinking of the LRC government, they will use you like a puppet and will take away from you everything they must have.
16. Always switch out the lights at night.
17. Know about basic survival skills (check frequently on the SC DoD Facebook page and watch some survival YouTube videos)
18. Have money
19. Don’t believe in the wrong things, people, ideologies and morals. Follow and read regularly from our interim government and the DoD Facebook pages.
