Social Media has been washed with videos from Equinoxe Television’s Southern zone regional correspondent, Derick Jato on the recent attack by restoration forces on the colonial governor convey on its way in and out of Lebialem to install the colonial SDO. Derick who traveled to Menji, with the convoy has revealed that the entire town has been deserted as people have fled to the bushes and neighboring villages, while some have gone to the West region in the Menoua, neigbouring La Republique. Du Cameroun.

The journalist speaking to Cameroon News Agency (CNA) of Prince Nfor Hanson revealed that their convoy survived from a serious exchange of gun shots between Ambazonia Restoration forces and colonial forces of La Republique Du Cameroun

CNA writes; “They were in the Governor’s convoy en route to Menji to install the new SDO of the area. Derick Jato said when they arrived Menji, he saw a total ghost town, it was as if no one has ever lived there” I have just been hearing of how people are deserted but never saw a thing like Menji, the whole place is deserted, houses locked, used tables still outside and compounds overgrown with grasses, they were clear signs, the people of Menji have fled to safer areas,”

According to CNA talking to Jato, he revealed that walking around Menji town, he saw only military men struggling to have a view of every corner, armored cars were everywhere and Military men were ready in combat ready for any eventuality. Mr Jato added , “I saw Baghdad in Menji, Mr Nfor, this issue is not easy.”- CNA recounts

BaretaNews learned that it took just few minuses for the Governor to install the colonial SDO Eta Ashu because time was not on their side. The fear of imminent attack from the Ambazonia fighters kept them alerted and worried. The Governor and his convoy were all in protective military gadgets against any bullets attack.

  1. Is it not said that “cowards die many time before their death”? Just look at this washed-out buffoon in that oversize bullet proof vest. He should have been manly enough to stand up to the challenge of the Amba boys. He has not seen anything yet. What a bunch of loud mouths; now they will see that talk is cheap.

  2. @Mukong, at least he is on ground zero how about you? You are over the internet making all sorts of noises. Shameless Internet Warrior.

  3. Where is Tabe Tando and Ebako. Gun has power. It took a very long time for Amba people to understand that you can only fight violence with violence. This is the war that will create a new Nation in Africa and chase Biya from power. A cleverer leader will never push his own people to pick arms.

    1. @Ndema, fighting violence with violence indeed? You stay oversea and deceive ignorant young guys to die in Cameroon while you leave happily with your kids in a safe location. You are worst than the Government you claim is bad. Shame on you.

      1. Are you not ashamed about your comment. You stay in US in a safe place and blame others. What have you contributed to protect unarmed civilians from terrorist soldiers?

  4. He called us dogs. Now he comes like a dog to Menji. Hiding behind his terrorist soldiers. The installation of that SDO is meaningless. He has no power over us. Since he is my brother I give him the advice to stay away.

  5. JOJO

I AM OK WITH YOU BUT YOUNGS BOYS DIE PROPERLY IN BOTH REGIONS. ATTACK GOVERNOR CONVOY IS NOT TO SHOW WARRIOR OR AMBA GUYS ARE RESPONDING MILITARLY.THEY STAY 15KM IN BUSH AND SHOOT JUST TO INTMIDATE BECAUSE NO IMPACTS ON VEHICLES;NO PERSONS INJURED.

I AM CAMEROONIAN FOR ANGLOPHONE SIDE; I WILL NEVER ACCEPT THIS STUPID IDEA FOR INDEPENDANCE.

    1. @bami boy
“I AM CAMEROONIAN FOR ANGLOPHONE SIDE…”
Whom to you want to convince or deceive? You are an East Camerouniann who speaks English. That makes you an Anglophone like an Indian, Australian or Issa Tchiroma. But you are not a Southern Cameroonian. Obvisiously since you have the right name (Claude, Blaise, Jean-Marie or Guy) you never faced the same marginalisation and disparagement like Ambazonians. So stop to fool people here.
“THEY STAY 15KM IN BUSH AND SHOOT”
The stood not more than 150 metres inside bush. Otherwise bullets cannot land on the road.
And like I wrote the newly appointed SDO has no power. It is empty. It was just a show of force of a desperate regime.

        1. bami boy nothing to be ashamed. I just told you the truth. Today your Cameroon is even more divided than 2 years ago. Don’t blame Southern Cameroonians for that. We tried for decades to be good citizens.

          FROM A FEDERALIST TO RESTORATIONIST

  6. Jojo you should be ashamed of yourself. I didn’t create these monsters. We will fight and you are simply out of touch. What were they thinking when they killed them last october and september just for protesting. If you don’t think things are working out good then where are the so called elites who used to blast the revolution like your Uncle Ebako?
