The MINRESI boss, Madeleine Tchuinte signed on behalf of her ministry meanwhile the Director General of SIL represented his organisation. This agreement CRTV stated comes to buttress other actions by Government to promote the teaching of the mother tongue especially at the level of basic education.
BaretaNews thinks this is a very good move. Most Cameroonians who grew up in the cities lack basic knowledge of their mother tongue. This move will foster the feeling of patriotism.
