La Republique Ends The Debate, Defines Who an Anglophone Is, Shames Tchiroma.
Laurent Esso, Justice Minister in delivering his cosmetics solutions on March 30th, 2017 to worries raised by Common Law Lawyers acknowledges in a subtle way that the present Cameroon is made up of two distinct peoples. Of course, we know the definition of “peoples” in international law.
La Republique finally defines Who an Anglophone is. This is what the Cameroun Justice Minister had to say ” Etymologically, Anglophone refers to everything that relates to the English language and culture. In Cameroon, however, the word Anglophone refers to a person whose parents hail from North West and South West Regions regardless of the culture and the language he speaks best. In such case, the word Anglophone tends to refer to persons who belong to a geographical area or even, why not, a tribe. The bilingual in this case is therefore either an Anglophone or a Francophone…”
.Laurent Esso. March 30th, 2017
However, like BaretaNews has been saying, call it Anglophones, West Cameroonian, Southern Cameroonian, these are all semantics which boils down to people of a particular geographical area. The term Anglophone is ancestrally linked and has nothing to do with speaking English or studying in English in the present Cameroons. This new position from La Republique laid to rest all innuendos from those “Cameroonians” including Tchiroma who claimed because their children grew up or studied in Anglophone Cameroon, it made them automatically “Anglophones”.
More importantly, it is fair to say that, we cannot allow La Republique to decide how we are called. Mental liberation begins from giving ourselves legitimacy and how we are called. We are Southern Cameroonians and as I have always called, we would remain Southern Cameroonians. This is why Southern Cameroonians in the diaspora are already grouping themselves using our legitimate name.
La Republique should up their game. The Consortium leads.

Those southern Cameroonians who think they can live in harmony with this people will get their greatest shock.
They are trying again through the tricks of redefinition (abstract construct) to create a scheme through which they can steal our identity.
The two cube of sugar are unmeltable, so lets at least try and pretend to be them.
Sorry sir, Southern Cameroonianness is a matter of BLOODLINE and DNA just as East Cameroon is too. Nationality is not identity. One is organic and divine the other is abstract.
At this point linguistic time traveling is not possible. We carry fresh memories of the injuries inflicted upon us by splitting our minds into Northwest Southwest.
Our people have well understood that game. It is over Biya. We are determined like never before.
You can fool some people some time but you can’t fool them all the times.if this government was real it will not be coming up now after six months with mare presidential decree will never be applied like the twenty one years old text for decentralization.we have a government which has never kept it promises to the people,a government that operates on manipulation and lies to the people everyday,a government that is up to no good to the people.so they could make this reforms then why torturing, jailing, raping, killing and depriving the people of internet for no just course only to come after may months with a superficial ministerial decree.this people have to understand that southern Cameroonians today are not those of John ngu foncha,my people let’s be wise once bitten twice shille, this is our only chance God have given to fix our situation for good we may never have such chance again if we don,t get to the real solutions now, then we would have sold our self and our generations chip to the devil.we have only one solution which we all know let’s be focus we will get there soon.thanks
What did you expect from both Tchiroma, Fame Ndongo, Esso and others of their ilk,, that they would say and do things that objectively fair without seeking to emphasize and consolidate the francophone position and advantage? It will seem to me that having covered these people for long, you still do not know that their mental predispositions will always be inherently and overtly pro francophone.
