The Southern Cameroons Revolution: A Weekend of Many Casualties

The weekend was a fierce one across the former British Trust Territory of Southern Cameroons now referred by majority of its inhabitants as the Federal Republic of Ambazonia. The quest by majority of the population for the restoration of independence of the territory has taken another dimension as the people remain determined to achieve this objective amidst a growing Yaoundé orchestrated genocide.

In Kake Kumba, Meme County in the Southern Zone of Ambazonia, the colonial terrorists from French Cameroun were on rampage setting the houses of innocent civilians ablaze. They had rested from this act for some time but its like they are fully back into it as they keep inflicting pains on the Southern Cameroons populace, rendering thousands homeless.

In Tombel of Kupe Muanenguba County, the people woke up on Sunday morning to witness fierce fighting between French Cameroon terrorist forces and the restoration forces of Ambazonia thereby forcing denizens who were already on their way to churches for Sunday services to retreat and take cover in their various houses.

In Mutengene, a junction town into Victoria and Buea, all in Fako County, gun believed to be members of a location restoration force snuffed life out of a Senior Police Commissioner by name Njume Simon. Reports say the town of Mutengene is presently under the siege of colonial forces as the population remains locked up indoors.

Revolutionary activities and clashes between restoration forces and French Cameroon terrorists were even more intense across the Northern Zone. In Belo of Boyo County, renewed clashes between colonial forces and revolutionary forces led to a complete breakdown of movements between Bamenda and Boyo Country.

In Esu local Government area of Menchum County, restoration fighters stormed a local gendarmerie check point and deleted four colonial terrorists who have been terrorizing the population and confiscating money from the populace through illegal road blocks.

In Bafut, a restoration group ambushed a convoy of terrorist forces from and neutralized 8. They also lost one of their fighters to the terrorist forces. The colonial Divisional Officer for Benakuma in Bafut was also arrested and is presently under the interrogation of the restoration forces.

The situation was not different in Mbengwi, Batibo and Widikum of Momo County in Ambazonia. The population of Mbengwi has been moving out of the town of Mbengwi while others head to interior villages following clashes between restoration forces and colonial terrorist forces. Tree truncks have been brought down in these localities to block the road and some bridges destroyed all in an attempt to hinder the movement of colonial forces.

The intensification of violent revolutionary activities across Ambazonia in the past week is testament to the fact that the restoration forces of Ambazonia are not giving up anytime soon. The Ambazonia ideology has already been planted in every Ambazonian and the colonial government can only wipe out the entire people before they can get hold that territory.

It is a war declared by the Biya dictatorship and the people have chosen not to sit and watch themselves completely eliminated by the terrorist regime. Some restoration forces have have been executed in their numbers as they struggle to defend themselves. Innocent civilians have been massacred at different instances just because they are Ambazonians.

The PRICE OF INDEPENDENCE – BLOOD has therefore been paid. Consequently, there is no going back to slavery in French Cameroon in any form, not even through a two State Federation. Any Ambazonian born that will want to connive with the terrorist regime and derail the people’s movement or by trying to take them back into slavery thereby making a mockery of the blood already shed shall be fiercely resisted

  1. we need photos of the burning carnage of the colonial french Cameroon to show the world,Is Ambazonia a Christian country?at this time where the people of SW/NW are in mourning and crisis, their church leaders have stayed silent, they are still conning their people preaching peace, none have guts like Archbishop Desmond TUTU who was outspoken, stood in solidarity with it’s people, people must open their eyes, wise up to all these fake, uncaring money making people who live comfortable lives taking money from the vulnerable, weak and poor, but never there in crises, it is demonic to see all those English churches in the francophone regions holding big money making gathering, ignoring the sufferings of their own people, making money while faking prayers for peace, what peace in time of war? when french Cameroon does not know peace,’what goes around, comes around’
