Buea to Bamenda: Sexual Occultism, Cultism or Modernisation

The most common definition of Occultism reads “mystical, supernatural, or magical powers, practices, or phenomena” while Cult is defined as “a system of religious veneration and devotion directed towards a particular figure” or “object or a person or thing that is popular or fashionable among a particular group or section of society “. It is, therefore, no news anymore of sex tapes, pictures etc. We have been seeing that often.
Baretanews and most Cameroonians have been crying out loud about sex videos coming from the Cameroons especially Buea. We have seen screenshots of the most sacred part of girls being exposed online, either by them or their so called boyfriends which they shared these things with. Let us get this straight. Some ladies get into relationships and because of the trust and how emotional they become, they turn to share their body parts with their boyfriends. Is this a bad thing? One cannot tell especially if such is shared in secrecy but it becomes a problem when one partner seizes the opportunity of break ups to share the lady pictures with a third party.

Within the last two months, we have come across different types of sex tapes video online. Some of the videos are very vulgar. One could see the face of the girl and the very hard penis of the boy having sex with the girl perniciously. The face of the boy is hardly not shown, but that of the girl is very glaring. In all of these, BaretaNews can’t tell if this was made public by the girl or the boy or it is some form of new pornography in Buea. We keep on wondering if it is a form of the occult, cult or is it just modernization
BaretaNews reports that the rate at which girls from the Cameroons-Buea are engaging in online pornography, whether it is screenshots of their parts send to a boy or sex tape of them massaging their vagina with their fingers or one in which the boy is virtually fucking the girl is hard to tell. BaretaNews understand that these things might be normal in the western world amongst certain groups of people, but this is foreign to our culture and/or ways of doing things.

Just a few days ago, BaretaNews came across a 2 minutes 50 seconds video of a girl, we are told it was in Bamenda University in one of the mini cités. This is a very fat girl with huge good buttocks. She is naked, her face is glaring. She virtually asked her friends to record her naked. One could hear her friends speaking in good pidgin English. She gets dancing shaking her rounded big exposed breast and the huge buttocks on video. Her vagina exposed at some point during the video as she stripped her pants off . Why was she making the video? Why have girls in Buea and elsewhere been engaged in sex tape videos? Is it that it is part of occultism as in a mystical, supernatural, or magical powers, practices, or phenomena that make the girls engage in these issues or is it that it is just a cult as in a person or thing that is popular or fashionable among a particular group or section of society? Should we accept that it is a cult which is becoming fashionable within the girls in the Cameroons? Is it a form of making money and/or to satisfy a guy because you want to get married to him? Or is it just for fun? BaretaNews is still to decipher what we can attribute these things to.
Where have we kept our African values? Sex should be sacred. Our bodies should be sacred and all those girls/boys engaging in these acts should seek better ways of enjoying sex, one of the sweetest gift God gave our body.
God is still saying something.
