Manyu Traditional Rulers Association Comes out of Hiding Place; Declares that Violence Begets Violence

The Manyu Traditional Rulers Association has issued a statement on the current state of affairs in Manyu in which they title “Declaration by Manyu Traditional Rulers Association”. The declaration is in reaction to the ongoing battle for Manyu County between colonial forces and faceless Ambazonian activists. The declaration which was signed on the 13th December, 2017 by 5 traditional rulers, condemned the killings, looting and destruction of civilian properties by the bloody colonial military of La Republique du Cameroun, which has resulted in counter attacks from faceless activists leading to the death of a number of colonial forces.

They therefore condemned violence on both sides and call for a collaboration between the people of Manyu and the colonial forces for a return to normalcy and peace in the land. They equally call on the colonial government to take all necessary measures to ensure the return of their populations, who have all fled to neighbouring Nigeria, following the order of the colonial SD.O for Manyu, Joseph Oum II, asking citizens of 16 villages to relocate to safer zones or be treated as terrorists.

The traditional rulers concluded with a condolence message to all those who have lost love ones in the confrontations, and noted that violence begets violence, and dialogue is the only path to genuine peace between people.

BaretaNews, appreciate the traditional rulers for speaking up at their own level at this point in time. We however note that, their statement is coming a pretty late when Mr. Biya and the colonial forces have done their worst, and have continue to loot, burn properties, torture and kill innocent civilians. It is only frustrated, defeated and an impotent colonial armed forces that can engage in such reckless genocidal activities. It is funny for these colonial agents to think that a guerilla attacker would attack them and be sleeping in one house for the them to come and break in to arrest him. This can only be the mentality of forces with saw dust brains.

Nearly all Ambazonians are considered terrorists, especially in Manyu where the battle is presently raging. If not, colonial forces will not abandoned their search for their perceived enemies to burn and loot civilian properties, maiming and killing some. The people must continue to defend themselves by ALL means necessary. There is no collaboration with people you know clearly are your enemies and are ready to kill you and your family at any time.

In the main time, those who cannot stay behind again should continue finding their way and crossing the borders into Nigeria for safety. If for one year the colonial regime could not understand the meaning of dialogue, it is not now that they have declared war on a peaceful people, that they will understand the meaning of dialogue.

Colonial President, Paul Biya must kill the last Ambazonian standing, to be able to take them back into another 56 years of slavery. If not, the war he has declared on Ambazonians is the war that will kill him.

  1. Molotov cocktails are a very effective weapon in urban warfare. Ambazonians shall rise in other counties to help their brothers and sisters in Manyu. Now the army concentrates on Manyu. Then they will enter Lebialem.

  2. Some of you critized me in the past when I spoke the truth that, war is the only answer to get to Bokwango. Now you see for yourselves. I am just humbled and full of sorrow for the compatriots who have lost their lives for us. I know for a fact that, had I been on ground zero, I would have either killed many or been killed by now. With France and UK in Security Council and UN playing e mami, na only chahvuum hollam all the way. Like Saddam Husein said when US walloped him in the first Golf War: “Only week people fight in the air”. He was ready for a ground war and the US knew they could not compete on the ground,so, they damaged him by air, first. LRC on her part, underestimated our ability to return fire and came on the ground, thinking we were like their francophone brothers who hide under the bed with the heard or voum or calley calley. When our boys took off their shirts and they realized how muscular they were, compared to them, they resorted to air attacks by choppers. What a shame, that a well equipped weak army with godaz is afraid to play inter quarter games with empty foot kids.

    1. But with helicopters you cannot control the terrain. In my opinion the regime was shocked by the fear resistance. And they still are. Now they realise that the war they called for becomes a nightmare for them. How foolish to fight a whole population.

  3. Atem Bakia I agree with you, larepublique armed forces are weak, morally, financially and tactically. I contributed to Manyu on amba.gov. The youth should not engage these thugs unless it is well planned. We know them, they don’t kow us should send info to these defence groups on Castro (Cuba), John Garang(S. Sudan), Kagame(Rwanda). We take the fight to them from the east in his village and the north, make this idiot fight from multiple fronts, they will collapse just like Mobotu, look at what M23 did in Congo. It’s war now Atem Bakia then let’s plan well. A helicopter can be brought down by a rocket-propelled grenade, how much do they cost? Wake up, Ambazonia, a couple of helicopters down(choppers) down will begin the complete bankruptcy of larepublque. No money to pay overtime for armed forces, dead soldiers, roads, schools, stays in Switzerland, internal corruption scandals between foes, running out of money trying to counter our heavy diplomatic assaults and finally no more money for bribes of foreign entities, elections and African cup of Nations, francofools increasingly joining in, opposing him. we are winning.Let our communications specialist have a group for targetting larepublique public constantly. Ahidjo still in Senegal, what a disgrace for Africa, if well put Radio Biafra style (EKokodem remember?) to the NORDISTS, go get your son back. In short “THE ENEMY OF YOUR ENEMY IS YOUR FRIEND”
