On July 19th a judge declared that Bill Cosby could sue a woman who accused him of rape. However, Cosby seems to be in his own hell as he suffers from a degenerative eye condition known as keratoconus. This has left him completely blind according to a source in New York Post. The source claimed that bill is confined to his house in Pennsylvania, and the only person on his side is his wife, Camille, who is masterminding his defense.
Keratoconus, which researchers believe is caused by a combination of genetics, environmental factors, and the endocrine system, can lead to a thinning cornea that bulges in a conical shape.
On Monday however, a judge allowed Cosby to sue former Temple University employee Andrea Constand, because she breached the terms of a confidentiality agreement in a 2006 settlement. Constand was allegedly drugged and raped by the 79-year-old disgraced comedian in 2004, but after police said in 2005 there wasn’t enough evidence to press charges, she sued him instead.
He settled out of court in 2006, with one of the conditions being an agreement not to speak publicly about her claims – an agreement that he says she broke,The Hollywood Reporter said.
Bill Cosby is a US comedian and within the last years, he has come under multiple attacks of alleged rape from a dozen of women. He has however not been officially charged or convicted of any. Hollywood stars have been muted on him. They have reportedly abandoned him. Cosby’s case has been dragging, some political pundits think Cosby is unfairly being targeted. However, having a dozen of women saying similar things against this once great man begs the question. BaretaNews sincerely thinks there is more to this Cosby case than what it is made to be seen.
