It has been reported that not every member of Donald Trump’s extended family will be voting for the Republican nominee on Election Day. Josh Kushner, the younger brother of Ivanka Trump’s husband Jared, was described as a “lifelong Democrat” in a new Esquire profile of his older brother published Thursday.

Through a spokesman, the magazine’s Vicky Ward wrote that Kushner “said that he loved his brother and did not want to say anything that might embarrass him.” “Nevertheless, the spokesman also said that Josh is a lifelong Democrat and will not be voting for Donald Trump in November,” Ward reported.

This is the beauty of Democracy where people are free to make their own choices. This should be a lesson for African countries. African governments should not subdue their citizens. They should be able to provide a free and fair election process whereby citizens could freely choose who they want despite family nor friendship ties. BaretaNews salutes the younger brother of Ivanka’s husband whom though is a long-time democrat did not shy away from supporting his conscience and voting for who he thinks could change the course of America. BaretaNews only hopes this could be in Cameroon someday where people are allowed to vote their consciences and where their votes really matter.

God is still saying something.
