Southern Cameroons Today

1. There has been some heavy fighting in Ekok in the last two hours. Independent and senior journalist, Elie Smith did sent out words indicating that special units of Tigers were engaging La Republique colonial forces. Several Camerounese blogs have carried the story. It is not immediately clear if there are any casualties. We are following ng up the story.

2. Meanwhile, the Cameroun Minister Of Defense in an urgent fax this morning called for reinforcements in Ekok and gave the warning that Ekok might be captured if no reinforcements come.The same warning was given to Mungo bridge. According to La Republique, separatists will bring down the Mungo bridge if extra security is not offered.

3. The Government of Tunisia has intercepted a huge unregistered consignments Of Arms destined to Cameroon from Russia. It is now clear that Paul Biya had illegally bought those weapons to be used in Ambazonia against its citizens. Unfortunately for him, it has been seized and intercepted.

In this same light, an assistant professor in the University Of Southern California, Prof Brett Carter tweeted few hours ago. He wrote “ #Cameroon Biya propaganda tells youth to “ Show themselves worthy of the Cameroon of tomorrow”. Meanwhile, Biya illicitly imports more than *24 containers” of military hardware from #Russia, presumably to use against citizens in NW/SW. Seized in #Tunisia.”

4. A medical doctor by name Dr. Veh Dinga-Njoh Of PMI Nkwen is in a very critical state after being shot in a taxi this morning by elements of BIR. We are told she was in a taxi heading for work when the BIR agents sounded their whistle for the taxi to stop. The taxi driver in that rush hour seemed not to get the sound of the whistle and therefore went on. The BIR followed and were now shooting indiscriminately at the Taxi with passengers. The victim was the medical doctor who is now at a critical state. She has been flown to Yaounde as we go to press. We pray for a fast recovery. As for those BIR, the people will come for them.

5. Reports coming in say Ni John Fru Ndi has decided to push on with the SDF convention in Bamenda despite warning from the Interim Government Of Ambazonia and activists of the revolution. We are told last minutes move to Yaounde or Douala has been cancelled as Biya’s Government has impressed on Fru Ndi’s SDF to make sure that the convention holds in Bamenda so as to give the green light that 25th March senatorial election will hold hitch free.

6. Boh Herbert, MoRisc leader in a short video circulating on Social Media has called for collaboration. In the video, he said the campaign for the recognition of Ambazonia has started and that in the days ahead, the public will have a detail document from the ARCC on how this will be done detailing the role of each and every Ambalander.

7. Intelligent reports coming in say La Republique has mapped out certain communities in the Northern zone to attack so as to in still fear into the people. They will beat, steal, harass and even shoot at any one who dares to resist. These communities are Babesi, Balikumbat, Bafanji, Babanki and Ngokentunjia. Denizens there should take special note.
