BaretaNews CEO Castigates UN Worker’s Murder
By Mbah Godlove
The Cheif Executive Officer of BaretaNews has unequivocally condemned the brutal murder of a purported UN collaborator in Kambe, Ndonga Mantung County.
Earlier on Monday December 2, the Ambazonian activist told BaretaNews that the act was evil and atypical of pro-independence fighters who have recently been blamed for the killing.
Sources say Pascal Ngwayi, a UN aid worker was whisked off and later killed by unidentified gunmen.
It however remains unclear who the murderers were, but sources in NKambe have revealed that militias sponsored by CPDM’s Ngala Gerard are culpable for the homicide.
In the meantime, UN Humanitarian coordinator in Cameroun has condemned the killing of Mr. Ngwayi. According to a press statement released recently, the UN Humanitarian Coordinator in Cameroun, Mrs. Allegra Baiocchi said: “I am deeply saddened by the news of the horrific execution of an aid worker last night [November 29]. On behalf of the United Nations and the wider humanitarian community, our deepest condolences go to his family, friends, and colleagues.”
