An international media based in Doha, Qatar, Al Jazeera, has rewarded Ambazonians with identity victory, following an online survey conducted.
The survey moderated by the Media Organ’s prolific anchor, Leah Harding (https://twitter.com/LeahHardingAJE), sought out from the world how Ambazonians should be called. From the impartial poll of polls, Al Jazeera gave four options, viz: Restorationist, Secessionist, Separatist, and Other…
Following the survey, a total of 4929 people voted, with 3,845 (78%) voting for Ambazonians to be identified as 
Restorationists, while Secessionist scored 6%, and 8% each for Separatist, and Other.
The polls shows that 92% Ambazonians want outright independence restoration. This reminds this platform of an online BaretaNews referendum conducted several months ago; a vote whose results were front-paged on the Guardian Post newspaper as lead story – the results showed that 80.29% Ambazonians wanted outright independence. This is a drastic shift in position of some who used to be Federalists.
Separatists, secessionists and restorationists stand for independence. Those who voted ‘others’ are some who have bought homes and parcels of lands in La Republique du CameroUn.
UN General Assembly Resolutions 1541 & 1514 that laid down conditions for the erstwhile British Southern Cameroons to gain independence, it clearly states in BLACK AND WHITE that, the people had the right to democratically quit the union. What better way to exercise this democratic right!
Ambazonians all over the world have welcomed the identity victory, indicating that it will give the world a fresh impetus on identifying Ambazonians as restorationists and not separatists or secessionists, like La Republique du Cameroun (LRC), has wanted it to be.
“We are grateful for this survey conducted by Al Jazeera. In fact, many have been confusing on the appellation to give us. Some call us, secessionists, others say separatists, but today, we all know our true identity is restorationist because we are advocating for the restoration of our statehood. Hence, the world would give us the right appellation,” said Ambe Rachel, an Ambazonian based in England, UK.
Others say the survey will mount some more pressure in the diplomatic world so those who matter shall add their voices to that of Ambazonians, in realising the goal of restoring the former British Southern Cameroons.
“This is a great endorsement from Aljazeera who has been very impartial in reporting this struggle from the start. It shall also ring a resounding bell in the ears of LRC, who would know Ambazonians are very united and are in high spirit to emancipate Ambazonia from the colonial slavery mounted by CameroUn. It will also give a new narrative in the struggle, and perhaps, bring those who matter in the diplomatic world to save our fatherland,” expatiated Likambi Monono Leonard, an Ambazonian based in Texas, USA.
Meantime, Al Jazeera in its usual impartial and objective reporting, will use the survey to carryout more in-depth reports on the restive crisis situation in Ambazonia.

My dear @Marcel maybe I wasn’t clear enough and you are absolutely right that no one can force relationship by the way of weapons. The ADF was formed with a mandate to defend the people, but at least 60 innocent civilians are getting murder every day, scores of houses burnt, ordinary civilians loosing their safety nets, thousands leaving in bushes and in refugees camps. Look at all these and tell me if the ADF who is on the run can claim that they are protecting the people. This is why I said the Ambazonia is getting weaker by the day. In order to have a said, you need to be in a position of strength and Ambazonia don’t have that at the moment. The situation only going to get worst and we all should be calling for dialogue and nothing less.

In Africa and on planet earth, LRC should not just be talking like a nation. They are completely too primitive in their thinking and acting. Just look at what they call their capital city, Yaounde, dirt and heaps of Refuse everywhere; the big primitive village called a capital city is filled with stench everywhere, broken down roads everywhere! There is just nothing that is attractive in anyway in that big dirty, nasty and stinking village with the most evil demon called biya.
