Post-Revolutionary Age; Rewriting of the History of Southern Cameroons/Ambazonia has Started

If there is one big and outstanding achievement of the Southern Cameroons Revolution at this point in time, it is the unveiling of the truth and hidden facts about the history and people of Southern Cameroons Ambazonia. A young Ambazonian scholar, while lamenting of the historical scam called; “50th Anniversary of Cameroons Reunification” in February 2014, posited that, the history of any nation, reminds its people

“… of their past, present and projected socio-economic and politico-cultural happenings in the society, and tries to analytically show the indispensability and inextricable nature of these happenings in each era for the smooth and co-operate existence, and survival of the state. This denotes that, no nation can survive without its history or in the midst of historical lies and a continuous distortion of historical facts to service the interest of some egoistical individuals…”

For the past 56 years, the colonial government of La Republque du Cameroon has deliberately diluted the facts about the history of Ambazonia, in an attempt to avoid the revolutionary scenario in which we currently find ourselves. Apart from sponsoring gullible historians to misrepresent or adulterate the truth about the story of the Southern Cameroons, they also went as far as banning the teaching of revolutionary prone history topics like “the Anglophone Problem” in Advanced Level History syllabus in High Schools within the English Subsystem of Education.

Unfortunately for them, the truth can only be buried in the short term. In this era of the revolution, the truth has been unveiled and the historical narrative of the Southern Cameroons story is already changing. Ambazonian scholars and revolutionaries are already at work to rewrite the history of Southern Cameroons that will constitute the new historiography of a post-revolutionary Ambazonia.

Two scholarly writings (books) have been released so far, telling the history of Ambazonia from typically objective and nationalist positions.

The First hint of an eminent release came recently from the fearless Hon. Wirba Joseph, titled; “WIRBAFORCE: The Force of Truth in Defense of Southern Cameroons”. According to a primer of the text, it exposes hidden truths and secrets in defense of South Cameroons, and equally x-rays the revolutionary agent, Wirba Joseph and his vision for the Southern Cameroons.

The second hint about another eminent release has just come from an erudite Ambazonian, Emmanuel Neba-Fuh, who is the Permanent Representative – African Parliamentary Alliance for UN Reforms Geneva. Mr. Neba-Fuh, titled his book; “The Unrefined History of Southern Cameroons, 1884 – 1984” (Vol. 1). According to the writer, the book is written with;

“superb confidence and impregnated with overwhelming facts and evidence that challenge decades of politicized controversies, this monumental art of historiography x-rays the former UN Trust Territory of Southern Cameroons from discovery by Portuguese explorers and British Baptist Missionaries, through colonisation by the Germans, the British and the Republic of Cameroun.
This masterpiece is stocked with de-classified narratives, hundred plus pictures and startling revelations from some personalities who played a pivotal role in the pattern of events that took place prior to reunification and after the shady 1972 referendum.

It exposes the dark side of the Reunification Movement, Ahidjo’s deal with General de Gaulle and argues convincingly that what happened in Buea on 1st October 1961 in the middle of the night and in the absence of the United Nations was not independence, but a concealed master plan to handover Southern Cameroons to France on a platter of gold.

While taking cognizance of the fact that there is no territory in British colonial history that has been left in the plight of the Southern Cameroons, it blames the United Nations for failing to implement UN General Assembly Resolution 1608 (XV) and for conniving with the territory’s colonial masters to obliterate its identity.”

As a revolutionary platform, BaretaNews congratulates these erudite and bona fide Ambazonians and those who may still be writing, for taking the challenge to rewrite the history of Southern Cameroons at this point in time. It is an incredible contribution to the current revolutionary information and physical war of state sovereignty between Ambazonia and LRC. We therefore challenge other Ambazonian scholars to go to work and tell the Southern Cameroons story from multiple perspectives. It is the duty of this revolutionary generation to deliver the true history of Ambazonia to the post-revolutionary generation.

  1. This is thrilling indeed my fellow comrades.
    Weldon to the writers.
How do we get copies of these masterpieces?

  2. This is one beautiful, exiting, thrilling, fantastic move.

This is one of the most important, most fundamental, most powerful front that has been initiated. This is infinitely more powerful and potent, for it can not be fought and it deals not with the physical but the mental, that is, it touches who one is inside of one physical body.

This is the missing puzzle, the History, the collective memory, consciousness, the soul of Ambazonian people is about to take its rightful place.

This is the third front, that is going to run parallel to the first which is political, the second which is military of our revolution.

    Beautiful days lies ahead.
