Free Ambazonia: Time to Compliment Self-defense with an Escalation of the Economic War.
For more than a year, Ambazonians have held the colonial state of La Republique du Cameroun (LRC)mpolitically, educationally and economically hostage, through the unrelenting resistances in the form of ghost towns and boycotts. The intended effects of these boycotts and ghost towns are already clearly visible in the economy of the colonial regime, with every sign of a crumbling economy.
Though Ambazonians are also feeling the pinches of the resistant measures, these are the necessary evils that MUST be tolerated at least for now, for a NEW PAGE to be open in the history of Southern Cameroons, and for Ambazonians to live a life and in a country truly called their own. If not, the 56 years slavery under the rogue state of LRC is bound to persist for another five decades.
Therefore, as Ambalanders continue to support self-defense initiatives, to put up a stiff resistance against the colonialist’s declared war on Ambazonia, there is also need to escalate the economic war on the enemy. These escalation measures will not only crash their economy completely and bring them to their kneels; but could also go a long way in economically empowering Ambazonians, who have been deliberately disempowered by the Yaoundé regime for 56 years.
On these bases, Southern Cameroonians must consider the following economic measures or sanctions on the colonial state and the politically limping regime.
1. No more buying of land or other real estate properties in LRC by Southern Cameroonians, especially those based in LRC. Buy your landed properties in Ambazonia and developed your villages. Your futures are uncertain in LRC and this is increasingly becoming clear as the events unfold. The colonialists, from their daily media campaign of calumny and hatred on our people are not likely going to exercise any civility on Ambazonians in their territory after complete restoration. That is, it shall be absolutely difficult for many of them to give Southern Cameroons landed property owners in their territory some breading space because, total restoration is going to be a bitter peal for them to swallow.
So, it is better to start empowering your own, by acquiring such properties in Ambazonian villages, towns and cities, rather than in LRC, where the future is very much uncertain.
2. Repatriate or transfer all your funds and savings in LRC financial institutions to Southern Cameroons credit unions. Except it is for the few transactions that require a commercial bank. Some credit unions now have visa and MasterCards too and LRC has worked in vain over the years to kill these credit unions.
3. Boycott of Société Generale Bank, and others like SGBC, BICEC and Banque Atlantique (stolen from Amity Bank, an Ambazonian Bank).
4. Boycott of Total Filling stations. Completely boycott even their Bonjour shops. Identify related businesses owned by bona fide Ambazonians and patronise them. The proceeds shall be sent or invested home.
5. Boycott of Brasseries du Cameroon products and get alternatives. Stop Timber exploitation from source, destroy if possible.
6. No selling of homeland plots to agents of LRC, especially colonial administrators and other LRC bourgeoisies. No one knows tomorrow. Ambazonians in LRC shall need these plots of land. This is part of our protest till further notice.
7. So long as this revolution last, Ambazonian diaspora should boycott the Douala port. Don’t provide funding for a terrorist militia called militaires camerounaises. Biya funds terror groups. He funded Boko Haram. He paid them huge ransoms and negotiated with them, but cannot negotiate with “self-determinationists” or “secessionists”.
He’s not serious. He’s also paying huge ransom to LRC army to destroy southern Cameroonian towns and villages. If Ambazonians dry up the funds, his terrorists will turn against him and give him a harder and even bitter Mugabe treatment.
8. Boycott Douala airport. Avoid arrest or immediate deportation. Stop funding a terrorists through heavy airport taxes. They closed down Tiko Int’l Airport and Bamenda airport so that Ambazonians can only travel through theirs and pay taxes to them. Yet, we don’t even see what they do with the taxes paid as their own 21st century airports look like shanty towns. Use Calabar or Akwaibom airports via Lagos or use Enugu Akanu Ibiam Int’l Airport that receive Ethiopian airlines flights. Calabar, Akwaibom or Enugu airports are closer to Mamfe and the ride into Ambazonia is very smooth apart from colonial extortionists checkpoints.
Out of the 900,000 visitors the Cameroons have annually, about 30% are Amba travellers and Diaspora. About 40% are foreign visitors and the rest to LRC citizens. About half of LRC international flights (15%) are due to Bamilekes (West Region of LRC), who are the most cosmopolitan and business oriented citizens of LRC.
So, 300,000 multiply by (x) 25,000 Francs, being the current skyrocketed airport tax is
Over 6 billion in airport tax alone, collected from Ambazonians and paid via ticket sellers and airlines. This does not include Exchange of foreign currencies at Douala and Yaounde airports.
Please Ambazonians, if you enter the country, whether via LRC or Nigeria, hold onto your dollars, pounds and euros. Only change in Bamenda, Mamfe, Kumba, Buea, and Victoria, as the case may be. Ambazonians need to develop their own forex markets in southern Cameroons. There is already a forex market in these Amba cities that just need to be boosted.
We’ve been too stupid all these years. We’ve wired billions of dollars , euros, and pounds over several years through LRC ‘s Forex market. They collected the profits, the taxes and artificially kept their economy alive.
Homeland is homeland. Frequent flyers of Buea, Victoria, Tiko, Kumba, Mamfe, Fontem, Tombel, Bangem, Konye, Bali, Batibo, Widikum, Bafut, Bamenda, Ndop, Mbengwi, Kumbo, Mundemba, Nkambe, Belo, Santa, … take special note.
There are several ways to protest #Kwakwa, #Manyu and free the homeland.
9. Southern Cameroons Ambazonian citizens in Douala and Yaounde make up about a quarter of those cities. You must now use your heads. No talking. At least you have mastered the colonial language. Do not fund the businesses of LRC agents. Buy from yourselves. But you can sell to them. All throughout history, when a minority people are faced with violent threats of extinction, they developed self help survival mechanisms, that sustained them even while living in the heart of murderous, oppressive regimes.
Consequently, we charge you to patronize your businesses. The colonial agents have embezzled funds from exploiting resources from Ambazonia for years. They’ve built hotels, restaurants, shops… and you want to fund them more, so that the monies be used to further exploit you? They have already marginalised you. Don’t help them bury you and your people.
Many Ambazonians in Yaounde appear to be confused and are regretting. Thinking they should have invested in the homeland. They should have built back home. It is not late now. If your security and that of your family is not guaranteed wherever you are in LRC under the present revolutionary atmosphere in Ambazonia, start preparing to auction your investments and return home. If is better to be alive and live freely in your homeland hustling for another property, than to live under fear, uncertainty and possibly be killed, because you wanted to protect your property in a foreign land. You must be very vigilant to know those who are receptive and hostile to you in a foreign land, in order to take security measures to save your lives. The hate speeches in some of LRC media houses these days are worrisome.
We at BaretaNews, the People’s revolutionary platform, insist that; this is a fight between Southern Cameroonians/Ambazonians versus the evil system of the colonial LRC regime, which doesn’t want a peacefully negotiated separation with its emancipated colony. Consequently, as the colonialists resort to hate speeches against the sovereign people of Ambazonia, we must do all what is necessary as a PEOPLE to free ourselves or die in captivity.
President Ayuk Tabe Julius and his cabinet members must be free. Bibixy Mancho must be free. Penn Terence must be free. All our brothers and sisters held in terror cells in LRC MUST be free.
#BUEA is our DESTINATION. We shall ARRIVED there and govern our COUNTRY with DUE PROCESS, HUMAN RIGHTS, JUSTICE, EQUITY, and the RULE OF LAW.
When all these values of GOOD GOVERNANCE emanate from the KUVA LIKENYE MANSION (former Prime Minister’s Lodge) in Buea, and all citizens live in freedoms and prosperity at their various levels across the homeland, only them shall we say; WE WERE ONCE SLAVES AND OCCUPIED BY COLONIAL LRC FOR 56 YEARS. THANK GOD WE ARE FREE AT LAST.

Thanks for that strong message. Most of the proposals can be easily handled.
Thank you and we will follow your strong message.God bless.
This message has to be posted all over. SCBC should broadcast this non-stop instead of the historical lessons they keep reporting. USe expensive TV time wisely to add to the economic warfare. They should come up with more ways to help all citizens bankrupt lrc. Any Ambazonian in lrc having doubts will pay the price. REMEMBER RWANDA. Sell all properties, make contingency plans to evacuate safely, make friends and plan safe routes now.
