West Midlands Police have launched a murder investigation after a man in his 30s was found with fatal stab wounds at a property in Edgbaston, Birmingham.
Officers were called to Selsey Road shortly before 8.30pm on Thursday, 5 November. The man was pronounced dead at the scene, according to a police statement published on Friday afternoon.
Another man, also in his 30s, was taken to hospital with what police described as a serious stab injury.
Police say no wider suspect search
The force said it was not looking for anyone else in connection with the incident. It did not identify either man or provide further information about the circumstances.
Officers remained at the scene on Friday, with additional patrols expected in the surrounding area.
No arrest or charge was announced in the statement. A murder investigation is an inquiry into the circumstances of a death and does not, by itself, establish criminal responsibility.
