The military of La Republique du Cameroun (LRC) has invaded Ewelle, a village of the detained Ambazonian President, Sisiku Julius Ayuktabe, BaretaNews has learned.

Ewelle is situated in Manyu county in the Southern zone of Ambazonia.

A source in the area said LRC gunmen early Thursday August 29, stormed the locality breaking into homes and arresting youth.

“The young men who were captured are being forced to do manual labour at Government School (G.S) Ewelle where they [the military] have said inhabitants in surrounding villages will all school,” our source stated.

He added that the carnage
compelled fortunate villagers to flee to nearby bushes from where they saw the brutal forces looting property and torturing locals.

“They have just shot one of our brother popularly known as “Bro Oben,” our source intimated from his hideout.

BaretaNews’ intelligence report from Manyu revealed that a former Ambazonia fighter, Kawa Yannick, has recently been enrolled
into the Biya army of occupation and is now being used to locate the camps of pro-independence fighters in the county.
