At 39, Emmanuel Macron becomes the youngest President in French history. He was sworn in on Sunday 14th May 2017 and he delivered a fascinating speech as a first move to begin a healing process of the fractured nation, CNN reported. He bids farewell to former President Francois Hollande.

In this regard, the President vowed to restore the economy of France in line with her sluggish economy and terrorist threats and attacks. His victory changed the political history of France following his age and prospects for the country. During his inaugural speech, he said: “The world and Europe need France more than ever. They need a strong France that is sure of its destiny. A France that upholds freedom and solidarity.”

He further promised to improve the French political system. On issues of migration and other challenges, he promised to address them by involving all parts of the population. He noted, “Nothing will affect only a part of the population. We are united, we are all neighbours.”

Onlookers, analysts, French citizens and the world at large look up to his term of office.
