Arrest and Extortion In Kumbo
BaretaNews correspondent in kumbo Town Bui County is reporting that several arrest have been made by La Republique du Cameroun forces around the villages of mbukuiy kikaikom, and Tooy early today morning. Persons between the ages of 7 and 50 in about 4 trucks were arrested, and have been carried to the Kumbo gerdarmerie at Tobin.
This move coupled with the existing tension around the place has imposed another Ghost town as denizens who were already coming out to resume activities have all retreated for fear of being arrested.
It should be noted that this is what these forces do when they run short of funds as they will be collecting at least 25000frs as condition to release anyone.
