The sum of 4.8 billion CFA Francs has been made available to the national organizing committee of the 2016 Women’s African Cup Nations that Cameroon will host in the months of November and December. 69 vehicles and a chartered plane that will relay Yaoundé and Douala have also been handed over to the committee for the event. Some 100 medical personnel including 24 medical doctors have been recruited solely for the competition.

Sixty young people selected from conscripts of the National Civic Service Agency for Participation in Development will serve as ushers. They will be assisted by 200 volunteers from the same agency. These logistics was announced when the national organizing committee was carrying out rehearsals ahead of the draw for the 2016 Women’s African Cup Nations that will take place in Cameroon.

The draws held on Sunday 18th September at 4pm at the Yaoundé Multi-Purpose sports complex. The ceremony was presided over by the Prime Minister Head of Government on behalf of the head of state. The event was marked by the entry of the flags of all the teams of the eight nations that qualified for the final phase of the 2016 Women’s African Cup Nations and their subsequent pairing into groups by the Confederation of African Football, CAF.
