Reports say Nigeria’s President Muhammadu Buhari has taken another medical leave to the United Kingdom. It should be recalled that in January 2017 he was on a medical leave in the United Kingdom. Controversies over his health condition sparked when he asked his administration to extend his medical leave.

These controversies reduced following his return to Nigeria in march 2017. However, his active participation in the functioning of his administration is arguably questioned based on his deteriorating health condition. Thus, he was urged to take another leave for medical diagnostics.

It is alleged that President Buhari flew to the United Kingdom on Monday 8th May 2017, sources say. Meanwhile, the government is said to function under the leadership of his vice Yemi Osinbajo.
