Breaking News: US Embassy Shames Kah Walla, Clarifies Nagy’s Statements
The United States Embassy in Cameroun has clarified the Statements made by Hon Nagy, USA assistant Secretary to Africa. Kah Walla recently in her vexing video had said the Separatists misrepresented Nagy’s Statements in Cameroun, in her move to present the Ambazonia diaspora as liars.
However, the USA embassy clarifications vindicate the Ambazonia diaspora and reiterated exactly what Nagy said and what the Ambazonia diaspora had explained
The USA embassy in their clarifications said they respect Cameroun Sovereignty and territorial integrity but at times they disagree with that sovereignty and territorial integrity and they are consequences of such disagreement. The United States still mentioned that dialogue must take place without preconditions. These two statements from the US embassy means just one thing according to BaretaNews: Dialogue must take place with separation on the agenda and also means the USA understands that Cameroun Sovereignty is that at her independence which is 1st January 1960. It also supports Nagy who said the ‘Anglophones’ had their independence from Britain. The fact that the USA can disagree with Cameroun Sovereignty and territorial space means they understand that the said territorial integrity is questionable when it comes to the crisis vis-a-vis Cameroun-Ambazonia. This is why they insist of dialogue without preconditions.
The US embassy also confirmed that Nagy held a long lasting position of the US in regards to the Anglophone Problem. And that long position since the 80s was clear: Anglophones could pick up arms if their cultural, legal and educational heritage is threatened, exactly what happened after war was declared upon us. This long lasting position also says no preconditions for dialogue to take place.
Yes, indeed we have a friend in the USA and the clarifications from the embassy shame Kah Walla postulations who tried to offer a different interpretation to Nagy’s Statements.
