Hello BaretaNews. Thanks for the article on Fru Ndi, captioned ‘Diasporans Know Not The Pain . . . ‘.

I beg to differ with Ni John Fru Ndi on his castigation of diasporans for the following reasons:

1) Diasporans fully understand the pain of Southern Cameroonians as well as Mr Fru Ndi does. We Diasporans and him simply differ in the approach to resolving the quagmire. The ghost towns and school boycotts that we are encouraging are a valid peaceful resistance package. Yes, they cause some pain to our people but not indulging in them will cause more pain from (and risk of obliterating our identity by) the Oppresors in Yaounde and Paris.

2) Diasporans are not the ones calling for war. The gangster regime had already declared war on Southern Cameroonians since October 2016. Our lawyers were beaten and humiliated in public, our citizens killed, with some reportedly buried in mass graves in Soa, Yaounde. What Diasporans are simply saying is that we have to strategize and defend our Homeland. We are so far doing it peacefully. But, if need be, we will do it the ‘harder way’. We are not unaware of LRC’S military prowess and how heavily militarised our Homeland currently is. However, our freedom and liberation of the Homeland are non-negotiable, and if the ‘hard way’ is what we will need to get it, then we will have to sacrifice for it.

3) Pa Fru Ndi gives the impression that Diasporans are taking on him in an unjustifiable way. This is not true. John Fru Ndi is a public figure and has been for decades. Every public figure has to be accountable for their actions or inactions, as applicable. More so, Southern Cameroonians have offered a lot to the SDF during the past decades. At a time when we Southern Cameroonians need the leadership of that party to give us their full support and endorsement, what we find in Ni John and the SDF is a catalogue of ambiguous declarations (such as 4-state Federation) that do not go anywhere or far enough in resolving our problem.

4) Ni John castigates the Diasporans and sympathises with the suffering of our people due to ghost towns and school boycotts. However, I would have equally expected him to say what becomes of our leaders detained in Kondengui and other dungeons in LRC if our schools were to resume today and ghost towns were to be called off. Mr Fru Ndi failed to say what concrete measures, if any, that he has taken in negotiating with the regime for the release of our leaders. For that, he can say nothing because he, just like Paul Biya, is powerless there. We know they both and all of them are being remote controlled from France. But, while we respect France as a World Power, we are not scared of them.

The Second French Revolution was launched since the 1st of July 2017 by the Southern Cameroonian, Millan Atam. Some think it is a delusional idea, just like they thought last year that the lawyers and teachers strike were delusional! The Second French Revolution is currently going through the lag phase, and slowly gaining steam. When it eventually gets into the growth face, the French and their puppets in Africa will be shocked just like the Yaounde is shocked by our resilience so far. What the French and their puppets need to understand is that, no matter how gigantic and strong a man may be, every human has a Achilles tendon. And the Southern Cameroons crises may just turn out to be the Achilles tendon for France and LRC if we continue with the same enthusiasm while consolidating and diversifying our strategy on the ground.

John Fru Ndi has to understand that, while we are disappointed with him that his actions and those of his party do not go far enough to foster our cause during the current crises, we still have a measurable degree of respect for him for his previous political exploits. At least, for now, we are not putting him as yet in the categories of traitors like Atanga Nji and Peter Mafany Musonge, or Chief House Slave Philemon Yang.

So, if Fru Ndi cannot back the Southern Cameroonian struggle, then the advice to him shall be to stay quiet (or, better still, transfer the headquarters of his party to Bafoussam, Douala or Yaounde).

This Struggle is the people’s struggle and there are many pointers that this Struggle is ordained by God. So, we are not applying any blind sentiments or favouritism here. Anyone who stands on the way of the struggle is standing on the way of the people. And, if we the people of Southern Cameroons aka Ambazonia do not strike him or her, the Holy Spirit will do that for us. (Did you guys not see the way the BIRs were struck last Sunday 16/07/2017 in the high seas of Debunscha on their way to Bakassi? Not sure what they were doing in foreign waters without due permission from our Interim Governing Council?)

In summary, I respect John Fru Ndi and politician and, in many ways, this respect is merited. I, however, differ with him on the points raised above in relation to us the Diasporans. I also differ with his party on their input to our struggle. And, by the way, I think he should have long created room for a younger person to take over the realms of leadership of his party, though that is no longer an issue for Southern Cameroonians for our own train had gone past the station and our main focus now is how to finally get our flag flying at the foot of Mount Fako by 1st October 2017. God bless Southern Cameroons aka Ambazonia. Long live the Federal Republic of Southern Cameroons aka Ambazonia!
