In line with the meeting scheduled to take place in Buea on Thursday 2nd February called by Peter Mafany Musonge which brings together CPDM SW elites, Mayors, Trade Unionist to discuss the on-going crisis, a letter has been addressed to all people from Southern Zone, West Cameroon to denounce the move from the former Prime Minister as only an avenue to drum support for Paul Biya. The letter reads:
My dear brothers and sisters of the South West Region,
We have proven to the world that we are not the cowards that many people, including our so-called political elite, have always thought we were. That we decided for many years to play along with them in the hope they were to bring us development was just legitimate.
Today our eyes are open; they cannot fool us again, they cannot set us up against our brethren of the North West anymore. Look at how Oben Peter Ashu whom they used has died so miserably while the colonial folks he was collaborating with are swimming in wealth.
Pa Musonge is coming here with something called South West Forum on the same selfish mission. We should only start listening to them if they are coming along with Barrister Agbor Balla, Justices Ayah and Ngalle, along with all our brothers and sisters arrested; if not, we should ignore these chief slaves. Forward until it reaches them too.
Let mafany who has been general manager of CDC, Prime Minister and chancellor of national orders tell the south-west and West Cameroon as a whole why Ndian with all its contribution have no road, let him tell them why okalia from far away Yaounde is chairman of Pamol and the expense of the traditional rulers on whose land Pamol is found.
Let him explain to the southwest why Lebialem with all its potential has no road. Let him explain why the average Bakweri man remains poor and landless with all the hectares government gave them.
Let him tell them how come Okalia and Zang his brother have become landlords in the land of the great Bakweri tribe. Less we forget, let him explain the great graveyard of foundation stones and projects in Limbe. The deep sea port, the ship yard, the steel factory, the ombe industrial zone, the cement factory etc.
Tell him, brothers and sisters, we are no longer southwesterners but west Cameroonians, tell him we fight for an end to a few privileged rich and a new era of equal opportunities for all who are qualified. Let him explain why no Bakweri, Oroko or Balondo etc ever became manager of Sonara and why Sonara pays taxes in Douala and not Victoria. Why there is no petrol depot in Victoria or Buea and why fuel is cheaper in Douala than Victoria.
Lastly, let him tell us why this meeting was not called to lobby for the release of chief Ephraim Inoni. We cannot be fools for a second time.

Wisely spoken and a lot of truth in it. Everybody should bear in mind that the so called South West Region contributes about 40 to 50 percent of the state treasure. But almost nothing is left there. It is a tragedy that the newly paved highway from Ekok to Kumba was sponsored from the Japanese and EU and not LRC. The gov steal our wealth and let others pay.

We shall not generalize facts. And we shall not blame an entire tribe. That will lead only to division. There are always individual stakeholders in societies who benefit of a corrupt and criminal system. They are even willing to betray their own people.

Truly their end time is around and they are digging their own graves.
I had never liked this folk for his selfishness. He is sickened to the core. I hail from Ndian and we have asked and no answer. this fight for total independent west cameroon continues until our people and land is free. Even if it means the last man standing, Alluta continua.
Added to, if it was left to me, we would have gone into a full military combat against la republique. They can’t change us in that respect. I have tested their strength and capabilities and all amount to fear andintimidation.
Musonge, shame to you! The eyes of the people of Southern Cameroon have now opened. Won’t you campaign for the release of your fellow brother Inoni Ephraim? Won’t you ask your master to release your own people whom he has detained illegally, some of whom have even been killed and burried in the mass grave of Soa? Won’t you ask your master to re-install the internet he cut from your own people? On top of all these and as blind as you are you are coming to Southern Cameroon to inflict more pains in the wounds of our people. Shame to you Musonge!!! We can see the cancer of selfishness and ‘langer throat’ has eaten you up. You will pay for all your selfish acts towards God’s people, the People of Southern Cameroon. God is watching!
