Breaking: Fru Ndi on School Resumption
BaretaNews has been reliably informed that Ni John Fru Ndi, SDF Chairman will on Saturday 5th August 2017 NEC meeting take an official stand on schools Resumption. Our sources say, Fru Ndi will officially calls for school resumption. Take note that the NEC meeting is yet to be called. This information was just dropped at our news desk.
The SDF no doubt has been in support of the struggle in many ways but the party as a whole has fallen short in taking critical steps that can force Mr. Biya to dialogue. The Party has the means to do that rather the party has acted like most of us out of the country with our only power to write notes and letters. We are saying that the party needs to act beyond writing communiques etc. The party has the power to shut down the country and request a change. This is what a front line opposition party will do. We however, appreciate the SDF for all the efforts they have been doing.
Should the SDF during their next party take a stand calling for school resumption without the release of all our people from jail, the safe return of those in exile, the dialogue on the Southern Cameroons question, then, we the people of Southern Cameroons shall treat the SDF Party and all its associates who aligned with it with equal and opposite response. We shall remember not the words of our friends but the pains from our enemies at this crucial time.
In BaretaNews, we are sending a sound of caution to the SDF in the next NEC meeting. They should recall the fundamental reasons why the SDF was created and if after 26 years, they still believe that the ballot box will bring a change in Cameroons system with this current regime, colonial administrators and worst still the sham of ELECAM then the SDF is only fooling itself and helping to drive the Biya-CPDM agenda.
We hope Mr. Ni John Fru Ndi takes the bull by the horn and finally use his powers and those of his MPs to make Mr. Biya sit up. Yes, Mr. Fru Ndi can still do this. The people are ready and will be with you.
That said, we are observing what tomorrow brings us.
Mark Bareta.
