The Nigerian Gate: A Southern Cameroons Scenario

Southern Cameroons  leaders were abducted at Nera Hotel, Abuja on Friday, January 5th, 2018, after they arrived for a meeting on how to mobilise resources for the more than 28 000 Ambazonian refugees currently spread across three states in Nigeria, notably; Cross River, Benue and Taraba. The names of the abducted leaders include; Dr. Julius Ayuk Tabe; Mr. Wilfred Tassang; Dr. Nfor Ngala Nfor; Professor Augustine Awasom; Dr. Cornelius Kwanga; Dr. Henry Kimeng; Elias Eyambe Esq; Nalova Bih Esq; Dr. Ojong Okongo; and Dr. Fidelis Nde Che. BaretaNews, however notes that the number of the abducted had risen to 11 to include; Blaise Berinyuy, Esq.

Worthy of note is that the Nigerian Human Rights activist and lawyer, Femi Falana, SAN, earlier on petitioned the Inspector General of Police, IGP, Mr. Ibrahim Idris, requesting him to investigate the abduction of the Southern Cameroonian leaders in Abuja, by the Department of State Service, DSS. Falana spoke in a press conference yesterday in Abuja, haven been consulted to stand as lead Counsel for the arrested leaders.

However, we at BaretaNews  are following the updates from Nigeria. I call this a Nigerian Gate-the biggest diplomatic scandal in the 21st century that citizens from another country and refugees will be abducted for one week and no clear statement or charge from Nigeria. As of this moment, it is clear no one has still spoken to our leaders. In fact, every other information moving in the air is a swindle.

Today makes exactly one week since our leaders were abducted. We begin to wonder. Where exactly in Abuja are they? How do they feed? Who prepares their food and take care of them? How do they bath and change cloths? We want to be sure of their food? Who feeds them? As far as we know, African politics is dangerous, we want to be sure their food is safe and not injected with slow poison to take them away in few years Time. Why is the Nigerian Government not sending out a clear statement? The foreign affairs minister in Nigeria said it is neither an arrest nor abductions but stop short of saying more. Why should Nigeria be playing with the emotions of more than 8 million Ambazonians?

Just four hours ago, Nigeria Foreign affairs Minister Geoffrey Onyeama tweeted that he just had a bilateral meeting with the French ambassador to Nigeria Denis Gauer. It is very clear that behind the cameras these diplomats must have discussed our leaders abductions. What message is the French Ambassador taking to Nigeria Foreign Minister? What message has Macron sent?

It is my personal opinion that if by Monday 15th, 2018, if these guys are not released, then the ball game must change, IG must change its language and code red must be activated.

You have a voice now. we are in a developing country and same stories everywhere http://www.bbc.com/news/world-africa-42661440, just a mater of time

The rich SCnians have their kids in LRC or in Nigeria schooling, the poor have their kids at home for two years and counting. This implies that even if you succeed in this your dream ambazonia, those in school now will have an upper hand.
It’s one week, your virtual IP and team are no where to be found, spend your time here propagating rubbish, only one of you gave up their location for personal gains. Compare the lives of those who were not known before the struggle eg Mark and now, he’s making life out of people’s donations after so many years in the streets of Brussels with nothing to show for. Tell your family members, relatives, friends back at home to send their kids to school. Even in Syria where there is war for almost 5 years, parents still send their kids to school.
The struggle started in good faith with fight for equality but some have hijacked it for their personal gains and interest, corrupt to the extend that they betray even their own team. Nonsense people, everyone is now treated as a suspect.

France wants to protect its oversea territory. That should be clear to everybody. We joined them freely now they keep us in bondage.

George do you have proof of the union agreement? Please note LRC got their independence on 01/01/60 and SC got their 1/10/61. If we were offered the third option of independence, and we chose to reunite then I will agree with you. That option was not given , so let not get things
twisted. We are not part of France period. France is the reason Africa is not progressing. They are taking our resources but they don’t want us in their country.

Tabot this is not what I meant. I know we were never governed by France. But they have huge interest on us (crude oil, rubber, palm oil,…).

France’s interest or whatever connection they have with Ambazonia’s raw materials is irrelevant, because whatever contract France has with LRC regarding exploiting Ambazonia raw materials, is an illegal contract made between France and an illegal occupier.

Have you ever heard anywhere in the world that a president of another country is arrested or abducted in a foreign country and there is no worldwide condemnation? It’s quiet, not even on daily news in any media outlet except on FB and Bareta news – sponsor of terrorism, This means that for over one year you guys have being going around the world collecting money and deceiving the poor back in SC that you have the backing of international community.

Activate code red from your keyboard immediately, what are you waiting for? Useless man, the moment you guys decided that there won’t be schools for the second acadmeic year you lost the trust of many, this your fight now is for your pockets and not for the poor.

If Mungabe and Mnangagwa of Zimbabwe were arrested in the 70s it won’t have been news. How many media houses reported about Mandela incarceration? It was being reported by some few liberal tabloids in the west. He was on US no flight list until became president. He was terrorist. To claim that the arrest has not received media coverage is overstatement, perhaps it is not as covered as one would have preferred. Who does it benefit by giving it a wide coverage? Is it the West? Abduction of any person, whether president or not is an illegal crime and must be condemned, the Chibok Girls were not president, abducted journalist are not presidents, but there are condemnation world because it is in their interest. Has even CRTV reported on the over 40.000 SCians refugees in Nigeria? Is it in LRC’s interest to report on SC refugees in Nigeria? Please allow BaretaNews and SCBC to report our things. It is in our interest to report it. A majority of SCians at home are aware of what is at stake and this movement will continue to it’s logical end with or without school resumption, with or without abduction. There is no formular for a revolution. There will always be traitors in every revolution, yes, ANC masterminded the killing of such in their mist and it will get at that sooner or later in Ambazonia. I’m concerned about those who have lost their lives than school resumption. SCians will have an opportunity to catch up and in a country that will offer a fare shake to everyone.
There are people who make things happen, there are people who watch things happen and there people who discourage those who make things happen.

Don’t worry about distractors from LRC. I can assure you there is a lot of hidden diplomacy going on right now.

We are a Ambazonian movement. Please ignore all the francophone who post rubbish here. Also lets avoid their issues. They have so much to talk regarding LRC and we have a big fight to fight to be free from France. Lets be nice to our Franco neighbors. Once day when they too wake up from sleep we will assist them break free from France. They will have a tougher fight.

Na true. A very few francophone minds such as the renowned writer Patrice Nganang have understood how to breakaway them from France. The decolonisation has to start with the end of that fake union between la Republique du Cameroun and Ambazonia.

kidnapping is very common in Nigeria, don’t be surprised the Nigerian government doesn’t even know the whereabout of these crooks. Yaounde is very quiet, they have done their job, who ever is taking over this FB country will know he/she is next. No country will permit this nonsense from a few SCnians who think they are the majority or they speak for 8M people. Check your facts, even in the ballot box you will never be the majority, majority of SCnians now want peace and safe return of their kids to school

You have lost many followers the day you asked the children not to go back to school for the second year while you send your relatives to schools in LRC or in Nigeria.

I actually have doubled my contribution towards liberating SC. My brother is a PCC pastor and tells me there is no school resumption. They were at Ntamulung churh center in December 2017 to take stock of school resumption and resumption was about 10% mainly schools like PSS Mankon, Bafut but parents do not pay fees because they are not sure school will be effective and asked the school to get fees from lrc gov’t that asked them to bring kids to school. There is no school in SC and there will be school when the gov’t of the FRA will decide. If school had resumed it will not bother to talk about it, even fake CRTV web asked if school can now resume after our leaders were abducted.
