The bodies of La Republique’s soldiers killed in action while they conduct their barbarism in the Manyu County have been disposed of into the Manyu River by elements of their battalion deployed on a mission to wreak havoc in that part of the Federal Republic of Ambazonia.

Such improper manner to treat corpses have stirred a backlash from Christian faithful across Ambazonia who not only see it as a sacrilege but the act of dumping cadavers into the Manyu River which serves as a source of drinkable water for local communities situated downstream.

According to the Cameroon Intelligence Report, the floating corpses of these fallen soldiers were spotted at Agborkem German, situated some 100 kilometers from Satom Bridge, Mamfe. Locals living along the banks of the Manyu River have witnessed the lifeless bodies of humans wearing military fatigue floating their way to Nigeria.

The issue has raised concerns among Manyu elites and some Yaounde sympathizers, who are now asking questions. Some 240 La Republique soldiers are reported killed in battles in Mamfe, Akwaya, and Eyumojock local governments. It a separate incident, 75 LRC soldiers whose military vessels were ambushed, did not make it.

Back in La Republique du Cameroun, the lack of reliable information concerning loved ones dispatched to Manyu and Lebialem counties worry family members who’re left behind to contemplate their fate. Military hierarchy in Yaounde is frequently peppered with questions concerning their relatives. One military official is overheard in a private discussion floating the idea that no legion has been commissioned to protect and preserve the remains of soldiers killed in Ambazonia.
